Mostly Solo but every now and then I grab some of the great players we have around here and BLAST!
Influences
Like any Kid in the late sixties The Beatles, Kinks, Peter&Gordon, The Monkees , Stones, Beach Boys ,Dave Clark 5, Zombies, The Shadows, The Ventures, Blaa Blaa Blaa untill one day I was over at a friend of mines who had Johnny Winters "first" album.. He made all the pop players sound like Cub Scouts. So I go to the record store and ask "What blues musician is good"? "Freddie King " He Sez ... and .... Yeah-- That was it!! Then I got some more Freddie. Then Howlin Wolf, BB. , Albert King, Sonny Boy Williamson, Junior Wells , Buddy Guy , Muddy, Robert Johnson, Yeaaaah and of course I get James Brown, Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Sam & Dave, The Supremes, Little Stevie Wonder. Then I get more---- Peter Green, John Mayal, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck. Then I'm old enough to party and getting high and liking stoner music . Hendrix, Beatles (again), Stones (again),Iron Butterfly ,Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, Pearls before Swine, Love, The Unreal Gods, Blue Cheer..
Nowadays anything old and Blue is just fine with me. I collect Harmony guitars and play em. I also play old Delta Blues-- Skip James, Muddy , Howlin Wolf ..... You know the list. I'm having a ball and playing all the time. Just where i'm suposed to be....

Hi Jerry! Your myspace profile looks ok now... I'm trying to find some spare time to practice with the bottleneck. And I've found an affordable H44 at last... I expect great things from that little baby... Stay well. Carlo
Lovely time...thanks. It's been quite awhile since I heard the blues and it was very good for me! Great players. Wonderful arrangements. Nice Babies. Good times.
I was just thinking about you and hoping that you are having a great summer. I love to sing! Thanks for bragging on me. How was that Landmark? Do people still smoke in there?? Well, I'll keep my ears out for you and hope to hear and see you soon. Maybe at the Lane County Fair?? You are an amazing person and musician who I respect.
Hey Jerry, we caught your show at the Willamette Valley Blues Festival. Great job, man! Love the band and your voice was great as ever. Nice guitar sound on that hollow body (is that an L-5) I was too far away to get a good look. Sammy says Hi, too!
Hey there, I had a good time at your sis's...you have nice kin folks...hope I didn't piss off Loni by teasin' her 'baby brother' ...oh well...did you wack your hair off yet?
Hey Jerry - How was the Bluesfest? Bet it was great! I've been working on a few new "old tunes": Cypress Grove, Hobo Blues, Terraplane .... we'll see if I can memorize the lyrics :) I turned in my app for the Journey to Memphis via RDBS... I figure it will be a great experience all around. Talk soon,
Hi Jerry, whassup my friend? Who's that heavy metal guy playing in your profile picture? :D I see that you're gonna play a festival... I'm gonna play one too, but not as a regular scheduled performer... I'm gonna take part to the Italian selection for the IBC (Intl. Blues Challenge)... I'll take my old 1203 that I bought from Tad... Should I win, I'll come to the US for the final competition... that would be a chance for us to meet... Great, no? But I won't win... :( Cheers, C.
So Jerry, Love your music...and it seems we have more in common than a love of the Blues (and Peter Green)... I was born November 15, 1948 in Eugene, Oregon! How funny, hunh? Sundae
