Sounds Like
a country/folk singer mixed with a dash of blues and a pinch of pop!
Jess Gordon grew up singing and playing guitar among the trees, rivers and valleys of Bridgetown in the south-west of Western Australia. While drawing inspiration from the Blues, Alternative and Indie genres, Jess' original style of music is her own blend of acoustic folk-pop, influenced by artists such as The Waifs, John Butler, Lil Fi and, all women accapella group, The Flanneletts.
Jess Gordon writes songs from the heart with raw, emotive lyrics that make for both a personal outlet and engaging storytelling with the ability to evoke both empathy and imagination.
Whether solo or with a band, Jess Gordon is an artist who retains the ability to captivate and move audiences with her powerful voice, passion for music and insightfully honest songwriting.
Greetings to the wonderfully talented, awesome and always gorgeous Jess Gordon from the 3 members of Trigger. We now have a time and venue for our CD launch. It's on Friday 12th June at the Davilak. We have Mike de Velta up first, then us (Trigger), followed by The Davs. If you or Damien or any of your friends are in Freo, free and curious, please drop by for a listen. Lots of respect, Chris.
Well Jess Gordon...... All I can say is that was a wonderful CD launch! You guys put on a great show and also managed to have a ball. That's the way music should be. I am hoping to do same with my mates in June, maybe at the same venue. Got some songs from the CD on my profile if you want a preview. Sending you a wish for peace and happiness and a very big hug.
