About me: hmmmm.....well I'm from Torquay (UK), I went to uni in Nottingham which was great, met many cool people and miss it like mad now :( sob sob. Just finished doing a masters at bristol uni so am naturally depressed about life as a non-student! Currently teaching in Prague. I'm a bit obsessed with Kula Shaker and all things Crispian Mills, love 60s psychedelic music and believe that just maybe i was born in the wrong decade. Not sure what i wanna do with my life but as long as it's fun i don't really care.
Peace x
Who I'd like to meet: CRISPIAN MILLS, ARTHUR LEE (Legend - RIP).....RUSTY SQUEEZEBOX
Hey John, How is everything? Sorry I haven't gotten back to you in a while. I've taken...I guess, an internet break. How was Baby Lemonade? I only wish I could see stuff like that. But living in Eastern Canada, (Saint John, NB,first incorporated city in canada) we just started getting big names in in the past few years. Nothing underground though :( So, I don't attend very many. Hey I saw Alice cooper last year! Hee Hee. Yeah, I grew up here and its mostly famous for seaweed treats and lobster. Oh yeah, its also becomming a huge tourist trap, with huge cruise ships comming in all summer long. We also have a oil refinery, and Mr. Irving is in the process of building a second refinery. Mmmmmm, lots of fresh air to breath in. Life in Saint John....Blah! Enough of that! Hows life treating you? What is exciting and new? Still listening to LOVE often and loving every minute. Thanks for keeping in touch, and make sure to get back to moi?
I'd like to tell you about a Tim Buckley Song Session in Bath UK. Ash mandrake and James Holingsworth will be performing some of his songs with their bands as part of The Fringe Festival.
A cover of Tim Buckley's timeless "Song To The Siren" sung from inside a suburban conch
Thanks for the add.Looks like we like pretty much the same music.Saw Kula Shaker on the Revolution For Fun tour back in 1988 and seen them at Glastonbury twice.Glastonbury was the best. They rocked!!!
Hi John Thanks for the request...we certainly have a lot of influences in common! I share Arthurs birthday and his music with LoVe continues to have a profound effect on me. Live and let live. Regards Graham
