Dr. Carol Rosin: an educator, best known as the original political architect of the movement to stop the Strategic Defense Initiative and Anti-Satellite Weapons. Carol became the first woman executive in the aerospace industry, Corporate Manager at Fairchild Industries, a U.S. aerospace company -- where she was also spokesperson for the late Dr. Wernher von Braun, the “father of rocketry.” She is the current President of the Institute for Security and Cooperation in Outer Space (ISCOS), which she founded,” and coordinator of the Peace and Emergency Action Coalition for Earth, P.E.A.C.E. Inc. Treaty Project. 

SPEAKERS INCLUDE:
• Dave Lefkowitz: Founder of Amnesty International's Southern Oregon chapter, Dave is a World Studies teacher at South Medford High School and a presenter with OLLI on non-violent movements. A graduate in Natural Forest Management, Dave served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger, West Africa, then as a World Bank consultant, and a lawyer for 15 years - involved primarily in representing workers, workers' rights, discrimination, and pro bono immigration assistance. Amnesty International (AI) is 50 years old, in over 150 countries, the world’s largest grassroots human rights organization, and winner of the 1977 Nobel Peace Prize. Dave will speak on Protecting Human Rights
• Joyce Segers, Candidate for 2nd Congressional District...on Citizens United.
• Carol Voisin, City Council Member, will assist Dr. Rosin in the reading of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
