This past year has truly been a blessing for us! We've strived to perfect ourselves as artists, songwriters, and performers. We wrote/co-wrote originals with amazing, profound, established writers here in Nashville, and we are truly thankful for all our experiences already! We've also worked with one of the best vocal coaches/song writers in the country, and lately we've been shopping ourselves around to major/independent labels trying to find where we'll fit perfectly in this business! Things are finally on their way and we firmly believe this! It's all in God's timing! (we learned that one pretty quick!) We don't want to give away too much juicy information- but please come back and check often because we will be posting updates, pictures, and new songs asap!
Yes, we're a "sister act", but that's what we've been our whole lives! We've been performing since we could talk. We've been blessed to grow up in such a talented family. The ARTS are in our blood, and we CRAVE it every day. Without some form of ART in our lives, who knows where we would be. It's our passion, and no one can ever take that away from us no matter how hard they try. Music can reach out to so many souls, and that's why God has us where we are now. We want our music, lyrics, and image to reflect how we live our lives daily. We're real girls. We're not just who you see on myspace. We want all of you to know we want and will write/sing the songs that will help you get through a heartbreak, experiencing falling into a new love, holding on to something you shouldn't be, letting go, or just havin a darn good 'ol time! Music has got us through the most difficult times in our lives, and hopefully ours can do the same for you. That is the reason we sing!
If we look familiar that's probably because you have seen Jessa on season two of the hit TV show, "American Idol". Or you have seen Alicia as an opening act for various Christian artists. Also you might have seen both of us recently performing around our town of Nashville, TN, singing the National anthem/God Bless America at MLB games during '05, '06, and '07, or random TV appearances.
There are a lot of people dreaming in this city to do the exact same thing we live and breath everyday, MUSIC! We've learned what separates us from the rest. It takes a lot of heart, more than a handful of soul, and really pushing hard at every door until the right one opens. We're gonna make it!!! We're bringin the heat, and we're never-ever-ever givin' up until we get what we've been working for our whole lives! We have persistence, dedication, strength, fight, and most of all our faith. This industry might throw some curve balls here and there but it means nothing when you have the fight that we do. MUSIC IS OUR LIFE! You know, it's true. Some people are just destined...to do what they do best.

À Brest, 500 million pour les sous marins nucléaires lanceurs des bombas atomicas

DCNS a décroché un contrat de 500 millions d'euros pour l'entretien des quatre sous-marins nucléaires basés à l'ÎleLongue, en face de Brest. ...D'une durée de cinq ans et demi, il couvre l'entretien courant de quatre unités : Le Triomphant, Le Téméraire, Le Vigilant et Le Terrible... Ces contrats étaient attendus. Les sous-marins représentent aujourd'hui une bonne partie de l'activité de l'ex-arsenal. « Le contrat de maintenance que nous venons d'obtenir pèse 500 personnes par an, indique-t-on à DCNS Brest. Au total, 1 300 personnes vivent ici de l'activité SNLE. »
À Brest, DCNS emploie au total 2 700 salariés. Inexorablement, même si l'entreprise continue à recruter, les effectifs diminuent d'une centaine de personnes par an. ... Les sous-marins, eux, garantissent de la charge de travail pour encore quelques décennies. Construit à Cherbourg, Le Terrible s'apprête à rentrer en service. Il peut lancer le nouveau missile stratégique M51. Courant 2010, DCNS doit attaquer la refonte des trois autres sous-marins de la force de dissuasion pour les adapter à l'emport de cette nouvelle arme.

Maybe it's not a coincidence that November brings Election Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day all in a row. First we have the privilege of voting. Then on Veterans Day we can remember and pay respects to all the individuals who fought and died for that right. Finally we can give thanks for all of it, for our freedoms, for our forefathers, and for all of our choices and opportunities. These are blessings we take for granted while others give up their lives to obtain or to protect them for us.
