After listening to the album and having knowledge of how it came to be, I immediately recalled a similar production which to this day is one of my all-time favorites; John Fogerty's "Centerfield." Although reasons and background surrounding the two recordings differ somewhat, the mechanics, from original songs to recording techniques to instruments are nearly identical. "Centerfield" became a flagship project for Fogerty and "Driven Back" may well do the same for Jesse and Noah. Read more at Neon Universe.
