Here's Jesse on Portland's channel 8 KGW during Mardi Gras 2007
CNN's Anderson 360 follows Jesse into his New Orleans apartment
for the first time since he returned to New Orleans a month after
Katrina.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
Emerging from the sultry sounds of the Big Easy, this South Louisiana native brings his soulful voice and skillful guitar work to the Pacific Northwest. Jesse continues to play around town in fine establishments both public and private, as a solo performer and with a duo or trio ensemble. For Booking inquiries email jesseyoungsounds@gmail.com
Those messages are actually from the answering machine that Harvest and I had in our Apartment in LC 6 years ago (back in "The-Very-Young-And-Charley" days!). I turned them into mp3's on Audacity then sent those to Garageband on my Macbook. Then I laid a drum track over the messages and I had so much fun, I just kept jammin' after the messages were done. I put down the bass and a synth organ after that and it was all gravy!
When did you add the "Radio show" track on there? That's really nice, man! How've you been? We seem to miss each other when we go to Louisiana, but I may be moving there soon so if you go, I'll be there.
We're playing a great show with The Joe McMurrian Quartet (now Woodbrain) and Eggplant this Thursday. It's a super solid evening of rocking roots music dripping in blues and jazz. Hope to see you there! ~~C

Very well done. You're getting good with the camera. It was shot well, and the tunes in the background were on the money. I enjoyed the cicada cameo as the sun set... I saw Eric on sunday. Jade and he rolled this way. He gave me an extra squeeze from you. It's been a rough moment for him. I'm glad he's up and moving about.
How goes things with you? The baby must be forming a round belly on Monica. Pass her my best wishes.
All the best to you. I look forward to the next time we catch up.
Jesse....Linger in My Arms is so very nice!!! I still love Lazy Bones and wish you would add it to your my space. Heard you play it at Saturday Market last year. You rock!!!!! Thanks.
I love the feel of "Linger in My Arms!" It sounds so fresh and new, yet it's one of those songs that at the same time, seems as though it were always there. Keep it up! Hannah says "Hi" by the by.
Dude! It's been a coon's age! I played a gig with a guitarist the other day that reminded me of when we played at Bisbano's. I miss those days and those musical moments, my friend. The place was pretty fancy. I mean, the Rev. Jesse Jackson was there for cryin' out loud. He says he likes my style.
Hi Jesse!! Love the music! Long time no hi - how has life been treating you? Are you planning to come to Das Chuck anytime soon?? It would be great to see you! ~K
Youtube is the game plan. we've got someone coming to tape tonight. We're going to run it on the streets for artwalk on saturday, and its going to make a showing on sunday at the benefit Panne' and I are putting together. We should get a good video out of one of them...
Thanks for the shout out and the support. I'll keep you posted on the viewing of the piece over this here internet...
Congrats!! You guys must be excited. I'm sure the two of you are going to have one hell of a sharp entity flow through. I can't wait to meet your kid when the time comes. I hear drinking and smoking cures men's morning sickness.
Thanks to you as well. Stranger in a Strange Land is my all time favorite book. Now that's a groovy perspective. It's been beautiful here lately, real cool. Reminds me more of the way Summer was when I was little, when you could stay outside all day and not feel as if you were gonna have a stroke by noon. :) Life is good, that book is awesome and you are quite welcome. Always drink deeply and never thirst. Peace
What a great moment to capture. I was singin' along down here on the bayou!!! Been waiting to hear that tune floating on these here internet waves... Needed that brother.
I hope all is well. Can't wait to cross paths again.
Nothing but love to all you cats in the band. Great run on Bossman!!! Role that bitch one more time!!!
