I play mandolin with a great group of guys called, The Infamous Stringdusters. We are very fortunate to have won three IBMA awards this year including, Song of The Year, Album of The Year, and Emerging Artist of The Year! Just teaching art, getting my masters, and right now....wrapping christmas gifts and getting ready to head up to the U.P. for break. I just got a pair of backcountry skis so I am excited to go tooling around the Porcupine mountains and up to the Keewanau to check out the trails and waterfalls up in Copper Harbor.
I sure hope you are in Nashville when I get down there. It would be a shame to miss you. I also sent Shad a quick message but haven't heard back from him yet. How far are the Smokey Mountains from Nashville? I was wanting to spend a day or too tromping around out there. Hope all is well with you. What is new? Is one of your band members the son of one of the Seldom Scene's? Okay...too many questions for one letter. Have a great x-mas if I don't hear from you before then.

Thanks for the add, Mandoman! I think the last time I saw you was up at Hiawatha Fest. a few years ago. I go every year. Sure would be cool if you and your brothers could reunite for a Hiawatha Cobb Bros. gig! You knocked everybodies socks off the first time you played their, when you were just kids!
