yeah you cant just replace dope singers. i mean just start somehting else you know. change direction. when yuor sionger dies, you gotta move on. although alice in chains was really fucking good. maybe im just that hardcore of a fan, or maybe its cause i never saw Layne but that guy did a pretty good job. but still... I guess Fear Factory is on to another project as Burton bell finally left. Dimitri says it sounds pretty good. i wish i had more time for music that i like. uuugghhh back to my fucking Do Re Mi's
wow, im appauled. by the time i got to the last one i just couldn't watch any more. it hurt my brain to listen to those out of tune singers. which makes me think that i guess my ears have come a long way in the last year. i guess ear training class really works, but god i hate it.
anywyas man, i miss smoggy. I'm in this cover band that was suposed to be a similar thing but there is one band member who gets all fucking serious and controlling sometimes and its really fucking annoying. i dont know how much longer i'll last. but then again i say that every week. and i also just brought in two friends from school so it would be kind of shitty of me to leave the band. but hey i dont have any time as it is man. bottom line is, i miss smoggy no one ever shot down anyones ideas, we handled everything as a group, we got wasted every practice, i miss it.
long time no see...was wondering if you ever do casual jams. if you rememebr zach andrews, i jam with him every once in awhile. you should join in, mix it up a bit. btw, cool bts cover. peace mang.
Yo dude, thanks, how you doing? Making good use of the beatles bible I hope. Well, I'm taking classes in Italy right now, and there are a lot of giovannies and vitos here for sure. It's good to hear from you.
Yo dude. Yeah that was me. I still haven't seen that episode. Did I make a fool of myself? It was totally scripted. Things are good over here. Pretty busy. What's up with you?
Mexico's fine. I'm surviving. Learning medicine in english and spanish is a trip. If I didn't have decent skills in spanish, I would have given this opportunity the finger. It sucks I didn't bring my acoustic with me so I've been instrument-less since I got here. I should really try to find a cheap nylon acoustic to keep me company when i'm bored. No gigs yet? No worries. Try to scope out the open mics around LA. Trust me. You're bound to hit at least one spot. And if all else fails...there's always the open mic at UCLA. I should be back around xmas. yeah, still a long ways away. But when i get back. We're jamming. Hit me up wheneva! peace.
word. you just let me know man. and paul has an acoustic up here so we can get a little jam on if you're into it. yeah man i look forward to it. when you come i can prolly get barry to come down too so give me a heads up.
hey man what's up? i just listened to the "evening with smoggy" CD. and i miss jamming man. that shit was so much fun. such a relief every week. good times man. I'm way busy with school and whatnot learning about musics and how to write them down. but i still dont have any sort of outlet for jamming and shit. i hope things are good with you.
Hey bro. Sorry about the long absence. Just getting used to the environment that I'll be studying medicine in for the next four to five years. Just gotta do it ya' know. I'll see you in a week. Let me know what you guys have been working on. Whatever it is, I'd love to work on it with you. Peace.
sup gangsta. eh, my band is playing this weekend for the annual Earth Day Festival. There's gonna be four other bands there, so i think we're supposed to go on at 2PM. Hit me up if u can make it.
