Hes the kind of weird, skinny, guy-next-door bohemian whos done it all majored in art history, spent a year in a convent in Ireland (yes, a convent), cleaned urinals at the Pittsburgh Funnybone. Shocking, then, that the janitorial duties would bear the most fruit: Now Joyce is a runaway hit stand up comedian on the club stages of New York- Pittsburgh Magazine
Jesse made the move to New York City in 2001 and since then and has been making a name for himself in cities and countries youve heard of as one of the hottest young comics working today.
He attributes his comedic instincts to growing up with his entertaining family. By following the example of his Uncle Michael, a former clown in the Ringling Bros.& Barnum and Bailey Circus and his great uncles, founders of the International Juggling Association, Joyce developed his own unique brand of comic charisma without throwing or balancing stuff or getting in or out of a tiny car.
Hes been seen as the host of AMC’s Date Night, as well as appearing on Entertainment Tonight, and Lifetime. His debut CD Joyce To The World has been well recieved and is played regularly on XM and Sirius Satellite Radio. He’s also regularly heard on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom morning show. For the better part of 2003, he was brought on as the head writer for a fledgling comedy cable network called Jokevision by the producers of The Food Network. He wrote, sold and shot a pilot for Jokevision entitled Stop me if Youve Heard This which you will probably never see until an E! True Hollywood Story comes out about his sordid past. He has also written numerous t.v. and radio commercials as well as various print ads. In 2001 he recieved 2 American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) for his writing.
Jesse has entertained audiences in 13 countries on 4 continents; all over the U.S., Canada, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Djbouti, Kuwait, Iraq, China, Malaysia, Singapore and Switzerland where he has appointed himself The Father of Swiss Comedy, as hes the only comedian hes ever heard of performing in Switzerland. I'm told by everyone I know that I have really shitty taste in music. I was even indirectly told by the crackhead or crackheads who broke into my car recently and left my c.d. collection. I guess it's no fun to smoke crack to Irish music or the Scorpions Symphonic c.d.

I was founded in Pittsburgh in 1978. I tour in cities and countries all over. I've been on Comedy Central, AMC's Date Night, Entertainment Tonight, VH-1 and Lifetime. Look for me when they reair the Comedy Central show "Live At Gotham." as they're known to do. I've been on satellite radio and the Bob and Tom radio show a bunch of times. I've been featured in the Wall Street Journal, which is ironic because I can't balance a check book. I spent the year on the Comedy Central on Campus College Tour and doing clubs everywhere with Greg Giraldo. I'm currently developing a pilot for what hopes to be the History Channel and touring the country. Look for me this year on the upcoming Comedy Addiction Tour hitting theaters in major cities throughout the U.S.
I've performed in 13 countries, on 4 continents, at clubs and colleges all over the U.S. as well as Switzerland, Canada, Ireland, China, Malaysia, Singapore and shows for the troops all over Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, Djbouti, Kuwait, and Iraq.
Who I'd like to meet: Jon Stewart because I like his witicisms, Salma Hayek becasue I like her boobies, and Winston Churchill (deceased) because I liked his witicisms... and his boobies.
