Hey there, I'm Jesse. I'm lucky enough to play music with a lot of different groups, such as: The Midnight Show, The Tall Pines, Fast 'n Bulbous: The Captain Beefheart Project featuring Gary Lucas + Phillip Johnston, singer-songwriter Amy Miles' band, Craig Wedren (Shudder To Think)'s solo band, Doctor Nerve, Spray Paint Star, The Mark Watrous Band, and along with George Korein co-lead the experimental musical collective We Are The Musk Brigade. In 2008 I toured with the reunited art-rock post-punk band (and my heroes) Shudder To Think. For over 8 years I played in the NYC-based avant-pop/party-prog band Time of Orchids, who had releases out on BadNews, Epicene, Tzadik, and Cuneiform. In the past I have been happy to have worked with Shudder To Think, Kate Pierson, Julee Cruise, Marilyn Crispell, PAK, Ruins, Chris Opperman's Special Opps, Zeehas 12;Wait, Dynamite Club, For Feather, Giggle The Ozone, Kayo Dot, Scarecrow Collection, Ned Muffleburger, Patti Rothberg, Keaton Simons, Scott Bruzenak, Bodie In Motion, Angie Mattson, and The Fits. I also have a solo career, with two releases ("Oceans In The Sun" + "World Without Nachos") of the experimental sort on the Public Eyesore/Eh? label out of Nebraska. I am at present forming a new band that promises to be promising.
