Born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, Jesse Lynn came to New York City by way of Detroit, Houston, San Francisco and Santa Monica...a journey that helps explain how Rock, Country, Folk, Soul and Jazz blend so organically in her songwriting. However, the one constant in her music is that it always came to life behind the piano - an instrument she met, almost at birth, in the form of her Grandmother's antique upright - and something that became an integral part of her life thanks to a family friend and mentor, the late Hall of Fame pianist & songwriter, Johnnie ("B. Goode") Johnson, one of the under-sung fathers of Rock 'n' Roll.
Jesse Lynn's compelling live performances have quickly earned her a following in NYC clubs like The Bitter End and Cutting Room, while also scoring her a slot on a Music Gorilla Showcase during SXSW 2009 in Austin. She is currently recording her first CD with her band, while performing a coveted Saturday night residency at Gavin & Joey DeGraw's club, National Underground.

“SHE'S A LITTLE BITTY THING, but she can PLAY that piano. And you talk about some singing…”
- Johnnie Johnson; Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame pianist (R.I.P. Johnnie)
"Jesse Lynn...was a great recommendation." "...you will hear that Jesse has somewhat of a Norah Jones vibe. Other tracks like "Citywise" are more in the Tori Amos/Fiona Apple vein."
