Books
the giving tree is one of my all-time favorite books... anybody who can transition from playboy writer to children's books is my hero! peyton place is interesting so far, i love anything by mark twain, and had an unhealthy obsession with edgar allen poe way back when (now i only read his works rather than memorizing them). i met this wonderful writer, even hill, who i have been looking into recently~ super funny guy, and fantastic writer. i will not buy into the pseudo-passion-fest that is a romance novel... gross!
Heroes
my parents, walt disney, ansel adams, norman rockwell, angelina jolie (for the work she has done as a diplomat), bono because he wants to save the world and that guy from supersize me, because he wants to expose the world. i also have a "thing" for michael moore (not a romantic thing, trust me!)... can't help it~ creative people everywhere... i have tremendous respect for political activists everywhere... those who have the currage to stand up for what is right. thank you!

About me: I'm Jesse :)
I'm a professional photographer~ I shoot for newspapers, magazines, websites and various marketing agencies~ I love what I do!
I have two wonderful munchkins :) Motherhood is so much fun! It's the first time in my life that I don't have to make excuses for my cartoon dependency.
I'm married... have been since August 17th, 2002. My husband is Bill Baker. He's creative, tempermental, romantic (at times), infuriating (at times). He's a loving father and a very hard worker and wants nothing more than to be the best family man he can possibly be. oh, that and a world-famous sculpter... is that asking too much ;)
I still dabble in most aspects of art... I sculpt, draw, write (yeah right), paint, make bended wire jewelry. Basically whatever makes me smile. I really love being outside. long walks, nature hikes, creature seeking, fishing, playing, and anything else that can be done outside.
Who I'd like to meet: Kevin Smith, Seth McFarland, Dan Brown, Maya Angelou, Matt Groening, Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Ellen Degeneres, Jim Davis (Garfield), Bill Waterson (Calvin and Hobbes), Angelina Jolie, Nelson Mandela, Adam Sandler, artists known and unknown all over the world, Adam Duritz (Counting Crows), Ed Kawalczyk (Live), Dave Matthews, God (some day) and anybody else who inspires me on a spiritual or artistic level.
Hey J Dog ;) Just an FYI.. I will most likely be making a NH trip the weekend of May 23rd ;) Have a wedding to go to in VT ;) Maybe you can be my Date :)
