Currently I am working on music and acting non stop Check me out on "imdb.com" under Jesse Lee Nunn and you can see the various movies and tv shows i've been in! I am working on a Solo Instrumental CD of varied styles (mainly heavy). Several famous Artists will be making appearances on the CD and I will try to post all the footage and songs as soon as I get them.
I am currently playing in a brand new band called ***THe Dead Verses*** Featuring ex members of Silent Civilian, Depswa, I am also in an allstar band with Stanton Lavey (grandson of founder of satanic church Anton Lavey), Riggs ex Rob Zombie, and also ex members of American Head Charge, and Hank III. I just got done recording ideas with with Martina Axen (Drain STH), and worked with some songs with Riggs from Rob Zombie/ScumoftheEarth. I would like to let everyone know that I will be teaching guitar/bass/theory lessons in the Burbank, Hollywood, and Valley in the next month or so. I have a mobile teaching Rig, 10 years pro teaching exp. at all the top music stores in KC and I will be offering extremely competitive prices!!! For fans of my last project "Of Vice & Virtue" I will be posting the final mixes of the songs we had finished, for what would have been our first full length self titled CD. Since the full CD was never finished due to musical differences we will just be releasing an EP that will have songs available to preview and to purchase on this site! Cover art for the CD has been finished and can be seen in the player above! The cover art is actually an Oil painting made for us by an amazing artist from LA that you can check out at myspace.com/lipstickteeth
As this site is completed I will have a pic and bio for all the bands I have been apart of. I am also finishing up recording ideas for another artist I cannot not name at this time but hopefully within a couple of months i will have some music to preview from that project as well!!!
BIO
I have been playing music, teaching, and touring since I was 15 years old. When I was younger I took music lessons for 3 1/2 years and attended classical guitar lessons at Paseo Academy for Arts as well. I have taught pro. for 10 years at many different Kansas City Guitar Shops. My first teacher was my father who worked with me on Rock, Blues and Country and was a great teacher and player himself. When I first started playing I worked for years on soloing and speed. Currently I am working on my chops for my upcoming solo CD and I still try to learn as much as I possibly can from different styles and enjoy a ton of different music, most of which you can see listed on the left side of this site!
I have played in a ton of bands which you can check out on this site. Some of them include "Urban Disorder" 95-2001 played 100's of shows and released 3 studio albums and 2 live CD's.
Next was "the Leo Project" which is an accomplished Kansas City band. Although I only played in that band for about 6 months I recorded demo's and played several good shows and still talk to those guys on a farely regular basis.
Right after leaving the leo project I briefly started a project with an old friend Chacci from Down the Sun, braincase, called "A brighter Side"we recorded a little but never played live.
In early 06 I joined the groundbreaking hardcore band "Salt the Earth" from Lawrence KS. At the time they were ending theyre label deal with Anxiety Records and were writing and demoing material that caught the attention of Volcom Records amongst many others.
Although Salt the Earth was a great band I was giving the oportunity to join a band with Grammy nominated ex Spineshank Vocalist Johny Santos called "Silent Civilian" (Mediaskare Records) I learned theyre set in a day off the internet, and flew to New Hampshire to join them on the Disturbed, Nothing Face, Crossbreed leg of the Jager Tour. I also played a 2nd tour with that band that included Bleed the Sky and Ankla. I was the 2nd guitarist in that band after me there were a ton of lineup changes but they are still touring and you can check out them and others I mentioned above at theyre sites!!! I also played in ex Geffen Records band Depswa for about 5 months when I first moved to LA. Currently I have several projects I'm writing for and i'm also writing music for film and TV. <
