Jesse Ray Carter was born December fifth 1985 and raised in rural Virginia. He taught himself a repertoire of delta blues on guitar and harmonica and immediately started playing street corners for tips. Jesse soon found himself work in clubs and bars along the east coast. Now in addition to playing solo he plays original music with a tight trio, which recorded a demo of his music in the summer of 2006. He hopes this demo will allow him to continue building a career with the same momentum that has been present all along.
