Well, it's been almost one year since I have started actively pursuing my musical career and what a year it has been! :)
I have been singing since I was 4 years old and playing guitar and writing songs since I was 12, but it wasn't until about one year ago that I have been able to pursue my passion.
Since I started on this musical journey, I have had the opportunity of working with fabulous musicians, including the great David Malachowski, Gary Burke and Fooch Fischetti (all of which contributed their time to my 4 song demo at Bennett Studios with Engineer Dae Bennett last summer) and meeting great new friends and fans.
This past year I have had the privaledge of performing at various venues throughout the Capital District. Including, Caffe Lena, The Muddy Cup, The Lark Tavern, Appletini's, The Parting Glass, WAMC's The Linda, and even opened up for the Hank Williams Show at the Capital Repertory Theatre this past April. I have been a guest on several local radio stations, including, 106.5 FM with the Wolf, 97.7FM with Chris Wienk, 91.1 FM Skidmore College Radio with Arthur Gonick, and Crumbscafe.net on the web with Mike Guzzo. I have also been featured in several different newspapers like The Troy Record, The Metroland, The Schenectady Gazette and most recently in The Times Union's "The best of the Capital Region", where readers voted me 3rd in the Capital District for Best Country Singer/Band. Woo Hoo!!! Thanks Albany!!!
Anyways, it has been a great year thus far and I hope to keep pursuing this dream that I have. I thank all of my friends and family for all of their support because without them I would not have had the strength to get through the tough times. I am looking forward to writing new songs and meeting new fans.
