Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. There are stories of me, when I was quite young (3ish I think) singing O Canada at anytime/ anyplace. Church foyer, airport lobby, it didnt matter where. I also remember hearing my Dad and Uncle sing together a lot growing up. Theyd sing all kinds of folk/ country songs, and to this day I dont think there are any voices I prefer over theirs!
After high school I attended Western Pentecostal Bible College (now called Summit Pacific College) in Abbotsford. There I completed 4 year degree, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a major in Church Music. In those four years I had the chance to both hone my music skills and learn what it is to minister and serve the church by traveling throughout BC with various college groups.
Fast forward to now . I am currently serving on staff at Alexis Park Church in Vernon BC as a lead worshipper/ various other duties. I've been blessed to be a part of the leadership of a worship gathering of preteens, youth, and young adults called Amplify.
David Crowder says of the Passion Conferences "People walk away from these events genuinely feeling that they have encountered God and have therefore readjusted their lives." I feel that what I desire to do is simple: point people to Jesus using everything I can, and trust that in encountering God they will be forever changed.

yah i thought so too. But i think we need to advertise it more..like make posters or something. idk just a thought. But yah..the closeness was pritty cool..we should somehow try and get it like that upstairs?
