I am fixated with Anne Rice (although, now that she is a devout catholic again, I am worried that my beloved Vampire Chronicles have come to an end). My favorites by her are Exit to Eden, The Vampire Armand, Cry to Heaven, and Blood and Gold.
My favorite poets are George Gordon Lord Byron, Robert Frost, Oscar Wilde, Algernon Charles Swinburne, Edgar Allen Poe, and Saul Williams. I have quite a collection of poetry books thanks to thrift stores and yard sales.

Oh my God, that is FABULOUS. I got David to watch that video just two nights ago and he really enjoyed it. We rented another program called the Animation Show, presented by Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt. Check it out if you can. Some of the shorts in it were really beautiful.
