Loved the video! what a great experience you two had. it showed a different view of the inauguration. I had to watch it on TV and was amazed at all that I saw and herd. it truly was a historical moment.
I'm not a political person but I believe that Obama has the true spirit of America in his heart and will do great things for the WORLD!!

Sweden was a neutral country and still is. Cool that you know stuff about my little country. Most people only knows ABBA Bjorn Borg and some hockey players. All respect to you and all others that wants to be enlightened.

i was working tonight during mccains acceptance speech, and the first thing i thought during his speech was 'what it george doing making a speech',.. then i realized it was mccain, he even sounds like bush, the last thing this wonderful country of ours needs is four more years of bush....

I agree and can not wait for Obama to become president for the change to happen.

You were here in Denver and I didn't know it!?! Ahh man. Well, consider this a huge (if belated) welcome to Colorado. :) Sounds like you had a great time while here! Political affiliations aside, I'm very excited for this election. People in the county are finally caring about the political system and it's an amazing thing to see. Glad you enjoyed yourself, come back and visit often.

Hey Jessica. I think it's great that you are taking an active interest in politics. We all need to set an example for younger generations, especially we Latinos.

I have to say I was always very intimidated to reply to one of your blogs...well more star stuck. I am a huge fan you see.


But I felt I needed to say my opinion on this topic.


This is a very historical time for our country. It really is history in the making. On the one side we have the first African American candidate in a major political party, which is a huge step in alot of ways. On the other we have the first female Vice Presidential candidate. Although I really don't think McCain and his new VP will win. Personally I like what Obama stands for. The last thing we need is another Bush. The sad thing is alot of people around my age aren't even registered to vote. In my Sociology class the professor asked everyone who is registered to vote to raise their hands. Out of 42 people there where like 18 or so registered. That's terrible. But you can't force people to vote. But maybe if they where better educated on why they should vote they would.


Anyway awesome to hear that you attended that. Would make a great story to tell your daughter one day.

I'm glad you made it to my hometown Jessica, it was amazing wasn't it? I myself find myself getting more involved then I ever have. Take care and hope you come to visit Denver again.
