Jessica Folcker's new album “Skin Close” is a close collaboration between Jessica Folcker and producers Andreas Kleerup and Andreas Unge. The first single, "Snowflakes", sets the tone for her new album – classic, well crafted pop spiked with 80s and electro flavours. The single also features remixes of Credheadz, Konstruction and VeeBeeO, along with a video directed by Ensrettet.

I'm still the same...still LOVING that eighties pop, which sometimes can be a bit saccharine and glossy, I know. But there’s nothing wrong with pop music that wants to be FELT. Good pop should ALWAYS make you feel something…whether it's in your heart, in your hips or between your legs.”
Jessica Folcker has previously released three albums and sold in excess of 700 000 records. She started her international pop career backed by producers like Max Martin and the late Denniz Pop. ”Skin Close” is Jessica’s first English speaking record since 2001. When Andreas Kleerup and Andreas Unge wrote ”Snowflakes” for Jessica it became the starting point for their creative collaboration:
”’Snowflakes’ was so spot on: the 80s sound, the strong, classic chorus, the melancholic lyrics – it had everything I love about pop. We recorded ‘Snowflakes’ in an instant and immediately decided to continue writing together.”
Jessica’s father is a fellow countryman and colleague to Senegalese superstar Youssou N’Dour, which opened the door to a duet between Jessica and Youssou on the eclectic ”Voices of Today”. This song was recorded in Yossou’s studio in Dakar, Senegal, with Jessica and Andreas Unge there, joined by Youssou’s musicians Assane Thiam on talking drum – ”the world’s greatest” according to Andreas Unge – and Abdoulaye Sissoko on kora.
”Skin Close” is set for release on Cosmos Records, May 30, 2007.

Thnx for adding me. I am a fan since your first single hit the parades. Saw you perform in Rotterdam (Pepsi Pop or something), but after the 2nd album, I heard just little about you. Until I found you on MySpace!! You have one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard, looking forward to a new album being released in Holland. Otherwise there's always the internet! skin close should really be released for download in the states....this disc is going for approx. 35 american dollars on ebay....there is a fanbase and a demand!i want it!!!!!!!!
