I am from Baltimore, Maryland. It's a good place to be from. Baltimore is an eastern US city that's located just above Washington, DC. It's not the cleanest safest place in the world but, to me, it's got an endless amount of worth.
My father is a piano player, and becuase of him music has always been a part of my world. But, due to the amount of time and attention requierd to learn, piano was not to be my instrument of choice. No, I needed faster results. Naturaly, I did what everyone else does and picked up a guitar.
Guitar playing made its way into my life when I was 12, and as soon as I got a few chords under my belt I tried writing songs of my own. I loved to play guitar but I haven't always been a singer. About four years after I started playing guitar my singing skills caught up.
In Baltimore I played gigs at restaurants, festivals, and parties as a solo artist and as a member of some bands. I also tried my hand at acting when I was cast as a money hungry producer and as an independent folk singer in the play "Woody Guthrie Dreams Before Dying".
I moved to San Francisco in 2005. While I was there I met a lot of musicians, played countless gigs, and went on a very successful ten gig three week tour of Japan. When I got back to the US from Japan I moved to Los Angeles where I made lots of friends and had lots of fun on the beach.
I now live, play music, and go to school in Shanghai, China. I love it!
I'll try my best to keep you updated on all of my adventures.
