It's just me and my guitar... and occasionally some piano that I try and play. Every Sunday I lead worship at the Basilica Community in Deer Park, TX.
I write a lot of songs, but mostly I write songs for my church community. My desire is to someday be able to write great hymns like the Charlotte Elliot, Fanny Crosby and John Newton. Someday.
Musically, I am inspired by a number of people who are far more talented than I am. Lyrically, I am most inspired by the Scriptures and by the inspiring words of thinkers and pastors like Dr. John Piper, Dr. Martin Lloyd-Jones, Martin Luther, Augustine... and the five solos of the Reformation.

Ok,Rachel will kill me for saying this,but...start praying God brings "THE ONE" into her vision...she too much of a good thing to not at least be dating someone amazing ...after all...i think she is the next unattached Basiligirl...we just can't let that continue for too long! word to big bird! your first apartment. that is scary but good. at least that's how it was for my first apartment. r u still living in Texas? i'm just chillin at home for a 5 week vacation.
UMM Im excited about playing again with you guys.. its about time Psalmwriters..geeeeez. ANYWAY, I got your schedule and I can pretty much practice every day after 5pm. except some wednesdays.. I'm free saturdays and sunday afternoons. SO CALL ME UP. We have to reschedule our lunch date yo! :)
