So I thought it was about time to switch this section up a bit. My name's Jess :) I recently quit my job at the advertising agency and am stoked to see what God has in store for my life. I am taking a LEAP of faith :) I figure that there are so many things in this life that are beyond our control that I should take control of the things I can to make myself happy. I'll be the big 2-5 in a couple months in March >:O scary stuff! But I'm looking forward to every minute of what this life has in store for me. Though I have been having some hard times lately, I am trying to remain positive and keep faith that God does not give us more than we can handle. Really trying to find Peace at this point in my life. I love cozy rainy sundays to curl up with a fun magazine, good book, or movie. I buy myself flowers on a bad day. I am absolutely addicted to brie cheese and chunky monkey ice cream from Ben and Jerrys (not together of course). I love being taken care of when I'm sick and when people play with my hair before I fall asleep :) I miss my grandpa and how he used to play piano for me when I was little. I wish he could take a siesta from being in heaven for a bit and come to visit and play me a song. I'm a very loyal friend and try wholeheartedly to believe that everyone is good at heart; even though thinking like this has gotten me burned several times in the past, I keep the faith. I'm currently in night school for my nursing pre-rec classes and WILL be starting Emory nursing school full time this fall. I GOT ACCEPTED!!! :) It's exhausting at times, but its my dream and I wont let it go. I'm very excited to be your nurse someday :)

Who I'd like to meet: Rodin and Frida Kahlo- my favorite artists. Jason Mraz because his music is amazing and it seems as though fame hasn't changed his spirit. Eventually a sweet man who enjoys the simple things in life and wants to be really really riduculously old and disgusting with me! And of course my Lord in heaven.

Jess here in boston we have a group called Events and Adventures and they set a montly calendar and you meet people at the events. i love it. i know they have one in fl you should look into it.
