Brand New Disease is now in stores across the US. The first single is climbing the Billboard club charts (Currently number 36!) and the DAC charts (German Alternative). While the cd can be purchased anywhere, the remixes are digital only.
The album is coming out to great reviews:
"The productions of the songs are never less than stellar...'Verses from the Rooftop' is a gorgeous slow burn of a song and 'Mirror Check' should be mandatory listening for club kids." - HX Magazine
“Vale is mesmerizing live! It’s rare in this genre to find a voice that can be aggressive and beautiful all at once without the studio magic. Not only does she have it, she flaunts it with enigmatic lyrics and a NIN-esque sound.” - METAL EDGE Magazine
"Like Bauhaus at their creative peak and a combination of an off-kilter Roxy Music having a shag with Depeche Mode...When this album is played and my mood is in sync with it, I'm lapping it up and I've not got a single complaint, especially with title track which is one for savouring, in a candlelit room with a nice bottle of red." - Live4Metal.com
"The vocals are perfectly paired with compelling lyrics and each song spins a tale in manner that a film would. Exit 12 sounds like it could be part of the soundtrack to a Rob Zombie movie." - Type 3 Media
"Vale’s deep and often times obscure sounding vocals will hypnotize listeners and hurl them into a world they have never experienced previously." - CelebrityCafe.com
The new album features a full band line-up. Ivan Evangelista on guitar, Randy Schrager on drums, Matthew St Joseph on bass. Visit the all new JessicaVale.com for details, videos, and more.
Jessica Vale has captured the attention of such significant media from her ground-breaking debut The Sex Album as the New York Daily News, Billboard, Time Out NY, Wired Magazine, Associated Press and shock jock Howard Stern recognized her as an original innovative artist. The singles from her past also have reached the Top 15 on the Billboard Charts.
The Sex Album is a full length experimental record made entirely from heavily processed recordings of real couples having sex. It's ambient, electro pop in sound.
