I believe you can never have too many blankets. Sometimes I forget the difference between an adjective and an adverb. I love cheesy horror movies, Halloween, and cemeteries. I hoard old letters and postcards written by strangers. I am addicted to Etsy.
My debut YA novel: THE HOLLOW (Simon Pulse) is now available!
About The Book:
A Love Like No Other...
When Abbey's best friend, Kristen, vanishes at the bridge near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, everyone else is all too quick to accept that Kristen is dead...and rumors fly that her death was no accident. Abbey has never felt so desperately alone. Then she meets Caspian, a gorgeous and mysterious stranger who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen's funeral and keeps reappearing in Abbey's life. Caspian clearly has secrets of his own, but he's the only person who makes Abbey feel normal again...but also special.
Just when Abbey starts to feel that she might survive all this, she learns a secret that makes her question everything she thought she knew about her best friend. How could Kristen have kept silent about so much? And could this secret have led to her death? As Abbey struggles to understand Kristen's betrayal, she uncovers a frightening truth that nearly unravels her - one that will challenge her emerging love for Caspian as well as her own sanity.
This love/ghost story set in modern-day Sleepy Hollow opens with the disappearance and presumed death of a teenage girl's best friend, and is the first book in a planned trilogy.

i do have one more question for you about the hollow series, once your done writing all three books do you plan on writing an official guide for the series? that would be nice to have to complete the collection.
I am reading "The Hollow" for the 2nd time, and i was sitting there thinkin when Abby isn't when Caspian and he says he's busy, what is he doing, and how does he feel about what he is? Have you thought about writing a version of The Hollow thru Caspian's eyes? i think it would be a big hit also, well i'd buy it!! when can we have some hints on whats in the 2nd book of The Hollow?
Absolutely adored it. I made everyone buy their own copy instead of letting them borrow mine. And just in case they weren't sold on buying it, I made sure to make little inside jokes they wouldn't get unless they'd read it. I'm so mean. Congratulations. I can't wait for the next one.
Jessica, I am on the 7th chapter of "The Hollow" and I am so intrigued!!! I don't want to put the book down!!! Wonderful writing!!!! You have me hooked and ready for more!!! :-) Hugs, Sandy
