Jessie Von Presley is a loud, in your face rock band that doesn't forget that rock n' roll is supposed to be sexy, as well as frightening to parents. This is a self indulgent band that doesn't follow the trends, or date their material with cliché’s of the times. This band is about as nonconformist as it gets, and ironically this seems to draw people in. Jessie and Company have created a unique sound, that’s a breath of fresh sound waves in a stale musical environment.
The debut CD "A New Order for the Ages" is a true album in the sense that you can listen to it all the way through without disappointment. It's obvious to the listener that these songs were written with the vision of an album in mind. While the songs are dramatically different from one another with tracks that range from rock anthems and ballads, to punk angst and dance floor fillers, but it’s somehow tied together with swing beats, distorted sexy guitar riffs, funky bass lines, and of course the raw scratchy vocals of Jessie.
Don’t expect more of the same though, Jessie Von Presley is presently working on a new album that’s taking the band in more of a dance-punk direction, with cleaner vocals and slicker production. These new songs have proven to be crowd pleasers. The true talent of any artist is only revealed at the live show, and this is where Jessie and his band really shine, with a hard hitting line up of the best players in LA. Then when you throw such a dominating and charismatic presence like Jessie out front, who many revere as being the best front-man they’ve ever seen, you're really seeing what a rock n' roll show was meant to be!
