At seventeen years old, Jessica Lynn Ingui is a talented young musician trying to make her way into the music business. With strong vocals coming from such a tiny figure, it is incredible to watch the talented teen in action. Not only has Jessy’s range been compared to Christina Aguilera’s, but she has a spunky style leaning toward Kelly Clarkson’s and a love for the softness of Colbie Callait and her acoustic guitar. Ms. Ingui is a unique, rising star, with a beautiful tone all her own. With a voice almost too mature for her age, Jess says the sky is the limit with how far she is willing to go to get herself noticed.
Born and raised in Long Island, New York, Jess is just like most teens. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family, art, fashion, school, music, and most of all: singing. "Leaving people with the chills -- impressing people, touching people; that’s only the half of it." Say’s Ms. Ingui. While she very much enjoys seeing the reaction of others, she makes it very clear just how much of an inspiration creating music for her own satisfaction is. "I won’t be the billionth person to say that I love singing because I don’t simply just ’love to sing’. After all, one does not love to breathe. It’s a part of my life. It’s what I do; it’s what I’ll always do."
So as the simple things go on in her life, it’s clear that Jess is going to continue to take music seriously and continue hoping for that one in a million chance to show the world what she’s made of. Currently, she’s working on writing acoustic music with one of her close friends and she hopes to have new music up for everyone to hear!
Recently, Jess had the opportunity to share her first photo shoot experience with Christopher Appoldt, a Long Island photographer. All the professionally taken pictures through out this MySpace were taken by him. He was so much fun to work with, and I think anyone who takes a look at any of his pictures can’t deny just how talented he is. its prob actually better that u dont try out cuz one of my other friends went who waz rly good. turns out u sing in front of a producer, who then decides whether u get to even see randy, paula, and simon. thats why all the bad ppl who wear outlandish outfits get on, cuz its better for tv. Some of the real talented ppl get gypped. well, that ends my rant lol p.s. the isles are lookin good, for now at least. im singin the nat'l anthem b4 the game at the coliseum on tuesday w/ the concert choir at my skool!
