A Highlight
After recording her first EP with producer Steve Addabbo in early 2007 (Suzanne Vega, Shawn Colvin, Sonya Kitchell), Jess spent three months performing in Japan; a highlight of her stay was a compliment and hug from the legendary Stevie Wonder, who was drawn in by Jess' voice while eating dinner at a nearby restaurant. Since returning, Jess has been dedicating her time toward writing and recording new songs. She is currently working on a new EP scheduled to be done in late fall 2009.
Background
Jess King has been featured in Biography Magazine's print and television ad (on A&E) campaign as an up-and-coming artist. She was also selected to be a part of VH1’s Rock and Roll Music Mystery Tour and has performed The Star-Spangled Banner at Shea Stadium. One thing for sure is that Jess King is an artist here to stay.
