Interests

  • General

    I have many interests. Some are mundane and some are odd I guess.

    I enjoy reading and writing, drawing (pencil, charcoal, and pastels), camping, yoga, belly dancing (though I'm not good), DDR, sewing, making bath products, herbalism, fire twirling, and lots of other things.

    I'm also a raw foodist. I'm learning how to do it right so I stick with it this time. It's such a wonderfully healthy and delicious way to eat. I can't sing the praises of raw food enough. lol

  • Music

    I like all kinds of music except country and rap. My favorite is celtic music.

    My favorite artists are Jewel, Enya, Ramstein, Rob Zombie, Pink Floyd, Metalica (their old stuff), Bjork, and some others whose names escape me at the moment.

    My favorite composer of Classical music is Tchekovski (not sure if I spelled that right).

  • Movies

    I like far too many movies to list them all here. My older favorites are movies like Cockwork Orange, Trainspoting, The Wall, and Rocky Horror Picture Show.

    More recent movies are Taken, 10,000 BC, Max Payne, and I am Legend...to name a few.

  • Television

    Heroes I have to say rocks. I also like Terminator, Two and a Half Men, Las Vegas, CSI (both the Vegas one and the Miami one), Burn Notice, Law and Order (all of them), Smallville, and House.

I live in New York with my two children (Orion and Kieriana), my husband (Frankie), and my sister (Amanda). We’ll be here till 2011 when Frankie, who is in the Navy, gets transferred to somewhere else.

I enjoy life, even the crazy parts. I believe in being who you want to be, believing in whatever you believe in, and living life to the fullest. I follow my heart and am guided by my intuition. I am my own person, however, and I don't let anyone tell me otherwise. I don't need society to tell me who I am. I can do that very well myself. I refuse to be an automaton.

I'm trying to make my way as a paranormal/fantasy novelist. I'm in the process of acquiring an agent to represent my novels. When I do, and when I'm published, you'll read about it here!

So far there is one completed novel, The Amethyst Circle. I'm rewriting the sequel, Yahweh's Test.
