About me:

Soul & Boogie DJ from London, UK of Irish heritage.
Been into Soul Music nearly all my life. It comes from having slightly older siblings who were allowed out to clubs before me in the mid 70's ..boo ..hoo!
I was just facinated with the choons/vibe/tales of attending these nights; it made my immagination run wild.
Funny enough they are no longer disciples of the groove, but it's me that is re-educating them ..funny how things turn around;o))
I've DJ'ed seriously since 1982 to the present day on the 'mobile' circuit and more recently on internet radio for 5 years with the now sadly defunkt Soul24-7.com with my show called Nightcruisin' which had quite a worldwide following, I can tell ya!
..Ahhh, memories;o))
Have been fortunate to play at clubs of the quality of The Jazz Cafe, The Ministry Of Sound & Noble Rot in London, warming up for peeps like Will Downing, Omar & Lewis Taylor as well as running my own nights in the home counties; Soul @ The Sebright & Souled Over @ Pinner Cricket Club and guesting at numerous others over the years.
More recently I'm involved on the line-up with the Soulville Weekender in Great Yarmouth, UK; Med Soul & Salou Soul which is held once a year (for a week) in Spain & The Summer SOULstice which is now an annual outdoor festival in the South of England, to the memory of a good friend & Soulboy, Andy Weekes, sadly taken from us prematurely in 2006.
