About me:

How do we define ourselves? What makes us who we are? Do moments/experiences really shape us or are we shaped by our reactions to moments/experiences?

These are questions we often ask ourselves, yet the answers often elude us. Our lives are complex and unique in innumerable ways, yet we are similar. We are influenced by countless people and things, our paths connecting with so many others. Many of us find ourselves asking: Did that time we chose the less popular path alter our course? Are we destined to be who we are? Is the world spinning chaotically? Are we really in control of our lives or just passive observers watching, mouth agape, as our future unfolds?

When it comes right down to it, no one knows for sure. So, we got to wondering: Does everyone have specific moments that shaped them? What kind of folks played pivotal roles in people’s lives? Is there a particular album or song which prompted reflection and, therefore, change, like many have for us? Is it normal to experience an existential crisis at the tender age of 25? Hell, do other people even think about this kind of stuff or are we just crazy? Etc.

Try asking your friends or family sometime and let us know what you find out. Chances are you might learn something about them you didn’t know, maybe something which helped shape you into who you are today.

In the meantime, we’ll share the thoughts of various people – some of them friends or family, others from the world of music, film, art or other walks of life who we happen to encounter – and see what they say. Maybe they'll reveal something about us that we hadn’t really considered before, maybe they’ll reveal something deeper about humanity, or maybe they’ll just make for some mildly interesting chatter on a rainy day.

(We only ship within U.S.)

Press Release:

Affecting CHANGE can be a daunting task. Affecting GLOBAL change? Try HERCULEAN. Still, with an issue as big as GLOBAL WARMING, it's going to take an equally enormous effort to make change. One organization is doing just that. It's 350.ORG, the international CLIMATE CHANGE campaign. Partnering with individuals and groups around the world, 350.ORG is changing the way we look at our changing climate. Already, 350.ORG has impacted environmental legislation in America, inspiring politicians to cut carbon 80% by 2050. On October 24th, 2009, 350 goes worldwide.

In coordination with 350's international day of action, ADITA.ORG releases "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT". This compilation consists of a wide variety of artists from around Chicago, the midwest, and beyond. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" benefits 350.ORG, with promotion of the October 24th day of action, and monetarily with each sale. ADITA.ORG is the digital home of A DAY IN THE AIR, a personal zine written by Bradley Adita. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" is A Day In The Air #24 and the 4th CD to be released since 2000. "Iowahardcore.com(pilation)" was released in 2003.

Thanks for being our friend.

Since you're our friend, you probably listened to our jams and liked them, right?

Want to help us out and tell a couple of your friends to check us out?

Our record just came out last month and we'd be stoked if you helped us spread the word about it. And if you wanted to pick up a copy of the record...we'd be even more psyched. Check our page for places that are selling it.

We're taking the rest of this year off from touring, but starting February 2009...we're coming your way! Look out for us and keep in touch!
