    Toco la guitarra desde muy pequeño. A los 15 años entré en el CONSERVATORIO principal de CARACAS. A esa edad participé en un concurso de guitarra en el Show de JOSÉ LUIS RODRÍGUEZ ( El puma ). Trabajé como dibujante (designer)para la GENERAL MOTORS y agencias de publicidad pero nunca deje la pasión por la música. Fui profesor por 5 años en la Fundación Musical Musiyama (YAMAHA) y más adelante comencé a tener presentaciones como guitarrista. Así comenzó mi carrera como MÚSICO PROFESIONAL. Perfeccioné ARMONÍA con el reconocido pianista de jazz GERRY WEIL. Tuve la suerte de conocer de ARREGLO y COMPOSICIÓN con MARÍA EUGENIA ATILANO (Lic. Berklee College de BOSTON y Directora de ARS NOVA de Caracas). Definí más mi IMPROVISACIÓN en jazz-rock con el maestro de guitarra ROBERTO JIRÓN. Mejoré el CANTO con la profesora JANICE WILLIAMS (Coro de ópera de BOSTON). Estudié teatro y tuve la oportunidad de trabajar como musico y actor con la primera actriz ASTRID CAROLINA HERRERA en la TELENOVELA venezolana "La Loba Herida". ♪ Grabe como actor principal en un unitario para ENDEMOL (Buenos Aires, Argentina - 2011) ♪ Compartí tarima con algunos de los músicos de FRANCO DE VITA, ILAN CHESTER, ELISA REGO... Ellos son: RAFAEL REYES (Trompeta), PEDRO"Conan"RODRÍGUEZ (Percusión),.....y GERARDO LÓPEZ (Batería) MARCOS MIQUELENA (Bajo) con quienes también me presenté en el JW MARRIOTT HOTEL de Caracas... ♪ Hice presentaciones a trío de jazz en el ALTAMIRA SUITES (Caracas) con el maestro GIULIO PROFETA (trompeta) y Charlie ALMARAL (teclado). ♪ Participé en el 2º JAZZ CARACAS FESTIVAL (1989) con la cantante MARI CRUZ QUINTERO y el notable baterista venezolano de "Adrenalina Caribe" ELEAZAR YANES (Teatro RÓMULO GALLEGOS, Celarg). ♪ Pertenecí a la reconocida banda "TÉMPANO"(1996).... http://www.rockhechovenezuela.com/tempano.htm................ ABOUT JESUS ESCOBAR I've played the guitar since I was a small child. At the age of 15 I entered the main Caracas Conservatory of Music. At that age I also took part in a television contest hosted by José Luis Rodríguez ("El Puma"). I've worked as a designer for General Motors and for advertising agencies but I've never abandoned my passion for music. For 5 years I worked as a teacher at Fundación Musical Musiyama (Yamaha) and then I began performing as a guitarist. That was the beginning of my professional career. I've studied harmony with well-known jazz pianist Gerry Weil. I've had the privilege of studying arrangement and composition with María Eugenia Atilano (Berklee College of Boston and Head of Ars Nova in Caracas). I improved my improvisation techniques in jazz/rock with guitar maestro Roberto Jirón and my singing skills with Janice Williams (Boston Opera Choir). I've studied drama and had the chance to perform as a musician and as an actor with actress Astrid Carolina Herrera on Venezuelan soap opera "La Loba Herida". I worked as a Main actor with ENDEMOL ( Buenos Aires , Argentina - 2011) ♪ I've shared the stage with musicians who have performed with Franco De Vita, Ilan Chester, Elisa Rego. They are: Rafael Reyes (trumpet), Pedro "Conan" Rodríguez (percussion), Gerardo López (drums, with whom I also performed at the JW Marriott Hotel in Caracas). I've performed with a jazz trio at the Altamira Suites (Caracas) with maestro Giulio Profeta (trumpet) and Charlie Almaral (keyboards). I took part in the 2nd Caracas Jazz Festival (1989) together with singer Mari Cruz Quintero and renowned Venezuelan drummer from "Adrenalina Caribe" Eleazar Yanes (Rómulo Gallegos Theatre, Celarg).
