    JesusisSolace 's Interests
GeneralMy interestes are reading & studying the Bible. Listening to Bible studies @ church & on MP3 format. I really enjoy the Bible teachings of Pastor Chuck Smith, Jon Courson, Brian Brodersen, Dr. David Hocking, David Rosales, Raul Ries, Jack Hibbs, Jeff Johnson, just to name a few. I enjoy listing to KWVE 107.9 FM & worship & praise music. This is my prayer for my life. Lord, I GIVE UP ALL OWN PLANS AND PURPOSES, AND MY OWN DESIRES AND HOPES AND ACCEPT THY WILL FOR MY LIFE. I GIVE MYSELF, MY LIFE, MY ALL UTTERELY TO THEE TO BE THINE FOREVER. FILL ME AND SEAL ME WITH THY HOLY SPIRIT, USE ME AS THOU WILT, SEND ME WHERE THOU WILT, WORK OUT THY WHOLE WILL IN MY LIFE AT ANY COST NOW AND FOREVER. YET MORE; OH MY GOD, MORE TOIL, MORE AGONY, MORE SUFFERING FOR THEE. IF JESUS CHRIST BE GOD AND DIED FOR ME, THEN NO SACRIFICE CAN BE TO GREAT FOR ME TO TAKE FOR HIM. O GOD, I ACCEPT YOUR TERMS; I HAVE PLEADED FOR BLESSING ON MYSELF & OTHERS. I HAVE ACCEPTED YOUR TERMS OF ABSOLUTE SURRENDER. LORD, ANYTHING FOR YOU. LORD, I AM TOTALLY SURRENDERED TO YOU. IT IS DONE FEEBLY, TREMBLINGLY, BUT, LORD GOD, IT IS DONE. I HAVE RECIEVED A SMALL PORTION OF WHAT I KNOW YOU CAN GIVE, BUT AS AN EMPTY VESSEL, CLEANSED AND HUMBLE, I PLACE MYSELF AT YOUR FEET AGAIN, DAY BY DAY AND MOMENT BY MOMENT, AND I WAIT UPON YOU. FATHER, I AM WILLING TO WALK OUT MY PRESENT PATHWAY THROUGH THE MOST TORTUROUS, DIFFICULT ROUTE, IF YOU SO WILL - BECAUSE YOUR WILL IS MY LIFE, MY SUSTENANCE, MY SURVIVAL. LORD, SHOW ME YOUR CROSS. TO BE WITH HIM, TO KNOW HIM, TO PLEASE HIM, TO RECIEVE HIS HONOR -- FOR THIS I AM DESPERATE. BY THE GRACE OF GOD, I WILL REFRAIN FROM NO MEASURE, I WILL SPARE NO EXPENSE, I WILL EMBRACE ANY DISCIPLINE, I WILL TRAVEL ANY DISTANCE, I WILL BE AS STILL AS LONG AS IT TAKES, I WILL HAZARD ANY HARDSHIP, I WILL CHANCE WHATEVER REPROACH, MISUNDERSTANDING, OR REJECTION IT MIGHT INVOLVE, TO PERSUE THESE FOUR THINGS.I MUST GAIN CHRIST! GIVE ME THE GRACE [O LORD] TO DO AS AS YOU COMMAND, AND COMMAND ME TO DO WHAT YOU WILL! COME, HOLY SPIRIT, SEAL MY HEART--CAUSE MY LOVE TO BE TRUE. I HAVE ONE PASSION, IT IS JESUS, JESUS ONLY. O GOD, MAKE ME AS HOLY AS A PARDONDED SINNER CAN BE MADE. ALL THAT THE OMNIPOTENCE CAN DO, I AM WILLING TO TRUST MY GOD FOR. LORD, EVERYTHING IN MY LIFE HAS TO BE IN COMPLETE HARMONY WITH MY POSITION AS A BRANCH OF YOURS, THE BLESSED VINE. YOU ARE MY VINE, AND I AM YOUR BRANCH. IT IS ENOUGH, MY SOUL IS SATISFIED. GUIDE ME, LORD GUIDE ME AGAIN, AS YOU DID BEFORE. OH, THAT I MIGHT BE A FLAMING FIRE IN THE SERVICE OF THE LORD. HERE I AM, LORD, SEND ME; SEND ME TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. . .SEND ME FROM ALL THAT IS CALLED EARTHY COMFORT; SEND ME EVEN TO DEATH ITSELF IF IT BE BUT IN THY SERVICE AND TO PROMOTE THY KINGDOM. O LORD, LET ME MAKE A DIFFRENCE FOR YOU UTTERLY DISPROPORTIONATE TO WHO I AM. PLEASE TEACH ME TO OBEY GOD AND LEAVE ALL THE CONSEQUENCES TO HIM. THERE IS A NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES LET MINE BE LOST IN HIS HIDE ME IN HIS CRIMSON HEART O, WAY OF SECRET BLISS! ONE LIFE ALONE IS WORTH THE FIND NAIL MINE ONTO THE TREE TILL JESUS EVER SHINING HERE IS ALL BEHELD IN ME. BRING HIM FORTH EACH DAY I LIVE AND LEAVE ME IN THE TOMB I SEEK NO OTHER GLORY HERE MAKE NOT THE SMALLEST ROOM BLESSED ANONYMITY! COUNT MY LIFE BUT LOSS --JESUS THE ONE AND ONLY-- TREAD OVER ME, DEAR CROSS MY GOD MY ALL O' LORD, THANK YOU FOR MY FAITH. SUSTAIN IT. STRENGTHEN IT. DEEPEN IT. DON'T LET IT FAIL. MAKE IT THE POWER OF MY LIFE, SO THAT IN EVRYTHING I DO YOU GET THE GLORY AS THE GREAT GIVER. AMEN.

HeroesSo Paul, first of all, declares that this is the heart of the gospel. Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also you have received, and wherein you stand; By which also ye are saved, if you'll keep in memory what I've preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures (1Cr 15:1-4): So the first proof that Paul gives of the resurrection is the gospel that was preached and of the changed lives that were wrought through the gospel. He said, "By which you are saved if you keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain." Now, in a little while Paul is going to tell us that if there is no resurrection from the dead, your faith is vain. You really have nothing to believe in, nothing to hope for if there is no resurrection from the dead. The gospel that Paul preached, he preached the gospel that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. The scriptures that he would have to be referring to would be the Old Testament scriptures, because the New Testament was not yet written. So where in the Old Testament does it speak of the death of Jesus Christ? Many places. Psalm 22, a description of death by crucifixion. Isaiah 52, beginning with verse 12 and chapter 53. That He was buried and rose again according to the scriptures on the third day...now this presents a little more difficult problem. Where in the scriptures does it speak about Jesus rising again the third day? When they asked Jesus for a sign, He said, "a wicked and an adulterous generation seeks after a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the whale so shall the Son on Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth" (Matthew 12:39-40). And so the third day and rising again, Jonah, perhaps, as sort of an example and yet it's really hard to tie that in a very definite way. But if we go back to the book of Genesis, we hear God saying to Abraham, "Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac and offer him as a sacrifice on the mount that I will show you" (Genesis 22:2). Now, when God said to Abraham "take now thy son thine only son," we have an equivalent to that in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son." And you remember that Abraham gathered his servants and Isaac, and they began to journey from the area of Hebron towards Jerusalem. And they had journeyed for three days when they came into view of the mount that the Lord showed unto Abraham. Mount Moriah, which is in Jerusalem. During that three-day journey . . . and Isaac is an interesting type of Christ in the Old Testament. During that three-day journey in the mind of Abraham, Isaac was as dead. We read in Hebrews, chapter 11 that by faith Abraham offered Isaac believing or knowing that God, if necessary, would raise him from the dead. For God had said, "Through Isaac shall thy seed be called," and Isaac at this point did not have any children. And so Abraham had such confidence in the promise of God that through Isaac shall thy seed be called that he was willing to obey the Lord, if necessary, to offer him as a sacrifice, knowing that God would raise him from the dead. So it was Abraham's faith in the resurrection that caused him to be willing to obey this command of God. As they left the servants and journeyed together, father and son, toward Mount Moriah, Isaac said, "Dad, we're missing something. We've got the fire and the wood for the sacrifice, but we don't have any sacrifice. Where's the sacrifice, Dad?" And Abraham said, "Son, the Lord will provide Himself a sacrifice." What an interesting phraseology. He didn't say, "The Lord will provide a sacrifice for Himself," but, "The Lord will provide Himself a sacrifice. In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen." And so they journeyed together, and Abraham built the altar and he placed Isaac thereon. And as he raised the knife, the Lord said, "Okay, Abraham, far enough. Now I know that you will not withhold from Me. Behold there is a ram caught in the thicket. Go ahead and offer the ram as a sacrifice." Now the interesting thing is Abraham left the servants. He said to the servants, "You wait here, and I and the lad will go and will sacrifice and will come again." Abraham told the servants, "We're coming back. I and the lad are going we're going to sacrifice and we're going to come again." Faith in the promise of God, "through Isaac shall thy seed be called." He knew that somehow, someway, if necessary, God would even raise him from the dead. And thus, the belief in the resurrection after three days, dead in his mind, in that he had to sacrifice him according to the commandment of the Lord. And Abraham offered the ram as the sacrifice and he declared, "Jehovah-Jireh." He called the name of the place Jehovah-Jireh, for the Lord will provide. And then again he prophesied, "For in the mount of the Lord it shall be seen." Interesting! Not, "It was seen, I saw it, I've seen it," but future, "It shall be seen." Very interesting that 2,000 years later on the top of Mount Moriah, the very same mount where Abraham offered Isaac, God provided Himself a sacrifice. And God's only begotten Son was crucified on Mount Moriah in the spot where Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice. And so Abraham was only in a play act drama, play acting what God would do in the future and prophesied of that day in the future when God would provide Himself the sacrifice. "In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen," and it was.

Who I'd like to meet:
This study was taught by Pastor Chuck Smith & I completly agree with this teaching: Now who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies (Pro 31:10). So it is possible that at this point, if indeed this is Solomon, and Bathsheba's talking to him, it would with all of his wives, it would be interesting if he had found a virtuous woman among them. "Her price is far above rubies." Her description. The heart of her husband does safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil (Pro 31:11). You just can trust your wife completely. It's so glorious to have a wife that you can have total trust in. You don't have to be suspicious. You don't have to be questioning. But you can just have that total confidence that they are true, that they are pure, that they are honest. Virtuous woman. Price is above far above rubies. She will do him good and not evil all of his days. She seeks wool, and flax, works willingly with her hands. She is like the merchants' ships; in that she brings her food from afar (Pro 31:12-14). She shops the ads, gets the best buys from the various markets. She rises up also while it is yet night, and gives meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens (Pro 31:15). Industrious. She considers a field, and buys it: with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard. She girds her loins with strength, and strengthens her arms. She perceives that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night (Pro 31:16-18). I mean, she is just a very industrious woman indeed. She lays her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretches out her hand to the poor; yea, she reaches out her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household: all of her household are clothed with scarlet. She makes herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land (Pro 31:19-23). Now the gates were an important place of a city, for the gates were the place of judgment. When persons had any kind of business to transact, legal business and all, they would always come into the gates of the city, and the men who sat in the gates of the city were the renowned men of the city and they would come to them for judgments. Her husband is known in the gates. He sits along the elders of the land. She makes fine linen, and sells it; and delivers girdles to the merchant. Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eats not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favor is deceitful, beauty is vain: but a woman that reverences the LORD, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates (Pro 31:24-31). What a beautiful, beautiful tribute to the woman. To the truly beautiful woman. The one that God honors because she honors God. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband praises her. Guys, aren't we lucky that all of us have found these beautiful women? How thankful we are to God for our wives. What a blessing they are to us. What a value. What a joy. What an asset. You couldn't buy her with rubies. Her value is far above them. What an asset they are to the husband, to the family and to God. Thank God for a virtuous wife. Over and over I thank God for Kay and what she means to me and what she means to our family. How privileged. And each one of you men, as you think of that wife that God has given to you, a precious jewel indeed. We are told in the scriptures, cherish her, nourish her, love her, even as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. Thank God. What a beautiful picture we have here. But this verse, for you young ladies, "Favor is deceitful, beauty is vain." Some of you are bemoaning the fact, "Oh, I'm not beautiful." It seems like there are very, very, very few women who are satisfied with their looks. Most women think of themselves as rather ugly. Most women have a low self-esteem. Very, very few women. There are some but they are rare who really think that they are beautiful, and those that think they are beautiful are usually odious. They're hard to be around. They're intolerable. A woman who really thinks she's beautiful. You don't want her. You'll never be able to keep her up. But the true beauty. So don't worry if God hasn't put the perfect face on you, because beauty is deceitful, favor is deceitful, beauty is vain. It's empty. And it's so true. You listen to some of these Hollywood beauties and what's more empty than the head of a Hollywood beauty queen? Some of those that primp and think they're so beautiful and are posing constantly. But you listen to their words and they just express the empty head. They never had to think. You see, everybody is always flattering them and all. And they've never had to really develop character. And they're about as shallow as you can be. You just listen to them talk and you find out how empty and shallow they are. They've never seen any need for developing character. Beauty is vain. But a woman who really reverences the Lord, a woman who lives a godly life. A woman who loves the Lord. There's nothing more beautiful in all of the world than a woman who is righteous and loves God. Oh, how beautiful. That's true beauty. You see that woman who is relating to God, the beautiful life is the one that is in the right relationship with the Lord. "The woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." You guys that are looking for a gal, don't look for the pretty face. You're liable to find an empty head. Look for the one who knows how to pray. Look for the one who is interested in the things of the Lord. Look for that one who is seeking God and seeking her life to be conformed into the image of Jesus Christ. You'll have a wife that will be true and faithful and loving and glorious all of your life. You'll be happy. She is the one that you're really wanting. She shall be praised. But you know, God is so good that God makes them to look more beautiful to us than anybody else anyhow. That's just God's little plus benefit. I have been wating to be loved by true love I have been wating to be loved by true love that it will last forever that God created you uniquely before I was born to share with you the love that God put me on my heart . Many times i wanted to meet you right now, so I have been many nights asking where are you? i didn't know where you were, but I felt like you were in a secret place in my heart waiting for me to give you the true love that I wanted to share with you. It may be couple years to a decade that I will find you, but when i found you only God will seperate us for a short time until eternity. I'm waiting for you. -Author Unknown- Jewish stuff at ChaiSpace! Jewish Myspace Stuff

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity but one of power, love, and self-discipline. -2 Timothy 1:7

"Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the workers are FEW. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field. -Matthew 9:37-38

"So everywhere we go we talk about Christ to all who will listen, warning them and teaching them as well as we know how. We want to be able to present each one to God, perfect because of what Christ has done for each of them. This is my work, and I can do it only because Christ's mighty energy is at work within me. -Colossians 1:26-29

"And then He told them, 'You are to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere…Your strong *love* for each other will prove to the world that you are My disciples. -Mark 16:15 and John 13:35

"We are Christ's ambassadors. God is using us to speak to you: we beg you, as though Christ Himself were here pleading with you, receive the love He offers you—be reconciled to God. -II Corinthians 5:20

"And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it, and then, finally, the end will come.

Are you going through a rough time right now?
These are the scripture that came to mind when I thought about climbing up the rough side of the mountain.

2 Chron 20:17 "You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the LORD on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.' Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the LORD is with you."
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the LORD will deliverer us out of them all.

Hope this finds you on the solid ground, anchored in Jesus the Christ.
Love, Carol

Shalom :). I hope that you're doing good. I just wrote and posted my new blog, which is Part 2, being the final segment of the current series, and it is called : "Powerful Tips For Fulfilling and Satisfying Marital Orgasmic Intimacy". It is a very mature and richly detailed blog which was written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit for the benefit of not only marital couples who seek improvement within this particular area of their lives, but also for singles who desire to learn about lovemaking before becoming married, so that they can be armed with knowledge. Abba Yahweh does not desire to see His people perish (suffer needlessly) from lack, but truly wants all of us to become completely fulfilled in spirit, soul and body. I would love to hear your thoughts and feelings on this subject, if indeed the Spirit leads you to share.
