An encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it through the day. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes to kill them. Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your path.
…Special is the individual who will take the time to encourage another.
May we be filled with the Word of LIFE to have words on our lips to speak to one another.
Let us be full of God’s PRESENCE to speak healing words of life to a lost soul or someone in need. May God lead you and give you discernment to know when it’s the right time and the right place to plant a seed of life for His Kingdom.

THE PRAYER OF JESUS FOR HIS OWN: JOHN 17:11-19
Christ does not pray that the disciples might be rich and great in the world, but that the disciples might be kept from sin, strengthened for their duty, and brought safe to heaven. The prosperity of the soul is the best prosperity.
He pleaded with his Holy Father, that He would keep them by His power and for His glory, that they might be united in affection and labors, even according to the union of the Father and the Son.
He did NOT pray that His disciples should be removed out of the world, nor that they might escape the rage of men, nor that they would not go through tough times, nor that they wouldn’t face opposition, nor that they wouldn’t be tested, because He himself had been through these things and He had trained His disciples for a great work, a work for the glory of God, and the benefit of mankind.
Jesus prayed that the Father would keep them from the evil, from being corrupted by the world, that no sin would remain or take up a place in their hearts; and He prayed that they would be kept from the power and craft of Satan so that they might pass through the world, the enemy's country...just as He had done.
They are not left here to pursue the same objects as the men around them, but TO GLORIFY GOD, TO SHOW MANKIND THE CHRIST, THE RISEN SAVIOR, and TO SERVE THEIR GENERATION!
The Spirit of God, in a true follower of Christ, is opposed to the spirit of the world; and the spirit of this world is opposed to the disciples. All true believers are disciples of Christ, kings and priests, joint heirs with Christ, Sons and Daughters of the Living God.
He prayed: "Sanctify them, set them apart - make them HOLY by Your Truth. Teach them Your Word, which is Truth! Just as You sent Me into the world, I am sending them in to the world. And I give Myself as a holy sacrifice for them so they can be made holy by Your Truth!"

God is pouring out HIS HOLY SPIRIT upon the earth TODAY...and He is choosing to pour it freely upon the youth of this world...because they "freely receive" and welcome it! True believers of JESUS CHRIST in their ranks are increasing in number day by day! Because their generation has been ASSAULTED by the plague of abortion, those that remain will RISE UP in GREAT STRENGTH and in GREAT NUMBERS and will SWEEP this WORLD with the FIRE and POWER of ALMIGHTY GOD in these latter days! BILLIONS of them will STAND for JESUS CHRIST, for they are JESUS PEOPLE of EPIC proportions!!!! The RIVER of GOD is FLOWING and this generation will be planted as TREES of RIGHTEOUSNESS on either side of that RIVER of LIFE! The leaves of the trees will be for the HEALING of the NATIONS!!!
Those who have passed the age of youth (in number, not in SPIRIT)...shall be for this young generation Spiritual Fathers and Mothers who lift them up, encourage, mentor, motivate, pray for them, PAY for them, give wisdom to, and give them shoulders to STAND UPON! Open your hearts, older generations...let the HOLY SPIRIT fill you with a new commitment to get behind this generation and see them be ALL the Lord has created them to be in the HERE and NOW! This, too...is for the "healing of the nations" (Rev. 22:2) and its fruit shall be GLORIOUS!!!

FELLOWSHIP OF THE UNASHAMED
I am a part of the "Fellowship of the Unashamed." I have Holy Spirit power. The die has been cast. I’ve stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I am a disciple of His.
I won’t look back, slow down, back away or be still. My past is redeemed, my present makes sense, and my future secure. I am finished and done with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tame visions, mundane talking, chintzy giving, and dwarfed goals!
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, first, tops, recognized, praised, regarded, or rewarded. I now live by presence, learn by faith, love by patience, live by prayer, and labor by power.
My face is set, my gait is fast, my goal is heaven, my road is narrow, my way is tough, my companions few, my guide reliable, my mission clear. I cannot be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, diluted, or delayed.
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice, hesitate in the presence of adversity, negotiate at the table of the enemy, pander at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I won’t Give up, Shut up, Slow up until I’ve Preached up, Prayed up, Stored up, and Stayed up for the cause of Christ. I must go till He comes, give till I drop, preach till all know, and work till He stops. And when He comes to get His own, He’ll have no problems recognizing me . . . my colors will be clear!

I stare out my window overlooking the green from my perch in this teardrop. It’s my second home, you see. Yes, I come here when blue has invaded my friend. I come here when needed, but it’s never my end. And if this teardrop rolls, so be it I say. I’ll fall to my destiny. It’s a small price to pay. But more often than not I live in the sigh that catches the laughter rising in the sky. Many colors live here and roam, splashing their shades, making the perfect home. Where else would I rather be? It’s the heart of my precious friend that reveals me to me.

One day we’re gonna stand before God and he is going to ask two questions. The first question is, "What did you do with my Son Jesus Christ?" Not "What religion were you?" Not what denomination, not what background, where did you go to church. We were created for a relationship, not a religion--not rituals, not rules, not regulations. Then the second question is, "What did you do with what you were given?"
GOD knows how hard you have tried. When you’ve cried so long your heart is in anguish, GOD has counted your tears. If you feel that your life is on hold and time has passed you by, GOD is waiting for you. When nothing makes sense and you are confused or frustrated, GOD has the answer. If suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope, GOD has whispered to you. When things are going well and you have much to be thankful for, GOD has blessed you. When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe, GOD has smiled upon you. Remember that wherever you are or whatever you are feeling, GOD knows!
