JetBlackRed are a Cardiff based band in their early twenties.
We play a straight up hard rock style of music, (Soundgarden or Led Zeppelin mixed with a hint of the heaviness of Metallica) complemented by the individual virtuosity of the four members. Our influences include: Audioslave, Velvet Revolver, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Guns N Roses and other hard rock greats, as well as a lot of blues. Our sound, as demonstrated on our demo, can be described as having a rock solid rhythm section as our base, on top of which walls of sound are built using the guitar, topped off with short, snappy and interesting instrumental solos and highly charged lyrics.
We believe that we are a talented and knowledgeable group of individual musicians (Mike is actually a guitar teacher), that have a excellent, no-gimmicks policy in our image (whats more rock and roll than a low slung Les Paul, and a pair of jeans and t-shirt?). We dont preen or prance like so many strutting peacocks seen on stage these days, we simply play loud, heavy, sweat drenched rock and roll that will leave people exhilarated and asking for more.
McGreetings JetBlackRed , Cheers for being our friend on myspace , Please Keep in touch as we value your friendship and support very much! All the very best to you, from McDave and the boys of Pegasus in Bonnie Scotland. ROCK ON! and have a great weekend.

You might as well ride along with us; Hell, everybody else is. Now remember, things look bad and it looks like you're not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. Cause if you lose your head and give up then neither live nor win. That's just the way it is.
Yeah, really good. Can't believe it's Martyn singing; nice tone. What's the plan next? Oh, and royalties for the third track if you sign with Sony please, ;)
How's it going boys? Load some audio onto this site - I'd love to hear what you're upto now. I'll give you a ring when I'm back next. Maybe catch one of your gigs and fulfill a lifetime ambition of being a groupie!
