UPDATE: CHARLIE AND I HAVE BEEN INVITED TO MEET WITH THE CEO OF JETBLUE DAVID NEELEMAN. INSANE, YES, I KNOW.

Hi guys,

My Name is Genevieve and I was a passenger on JetBlue #351 on Valentines day along with my boyfriend Charlie. We were en route to LA for Valentine's day before we ended being held hostage for 11 hours on the frozen tarmac at JFK.

I'm looking for other hostages of Jet Blue. I've found a lot of blogs out there in Myspace land so if I try to add you, know it's for the greater good.

I don't feel that a round trip ticket is enough compensation for people who were held hostage for 11 hours.

I don't believe that 11 hour hostages should be treated the same at 3 hour hostages.

I don't believe they apologized enough.

I believe in the power of the people and power in numbers.

Emily	2007/2/27 12:02 I sure did not! Lucky enough to not be stranded for 11 hours on the runway...I called Jet Blue all Friday night, was told my flight was leaving. At 3:30 am I, yes I informed the gate agent that the flight status had changed to cancelled. There were dogs relieving themselves on the floor, trash over flowing etc. Since noone was picking up the phone at 1800JETBLUE I pressed 9 for Spanish and was able to get thru- was told that we couldnt fly out for several days...So we had to book one-ways on Continental, and am still waiting for compensation. The kicker? Since we had checked baggage...Jet Blue said we couldnt even try getting it back for 3 days. I went to the Dominican Republic with no clothes. And to this day, I still have no bag back. I have spent 6 of the last 80 hours communicating with them, and no one can give me a straight answer. GRRRR..... I HATE JET BLUE! your website has really entertained me, as well as been an extremely helpful source of information for my current and future communications with JB. how did the meeting go with David? You are my hero!
katty	2007/2/21 09:00 As a fellow 11 hour soldier...who still can't wear a backpack because her back is so cracked out from sitting on a tarmac forever...I just want to say thanks for holdin' it down and fighting the power!!! Looks likes this revolution is being telelvised...which is ironic since we lost our tv too on the plane...after also losing the ac and the bathrooms.

Joe	2007/2/18 00:11 Hey, thanks for the add. I wasn't held hostage like you poor souls but They did cancel my flight on Thursday really messing up my travel plans and sending us into a mad scramble to go from the West Coast to the East.
