Fred Facker, the singer, songwriter, and driving force behind Jetexas was born in a small oil town where the AM radio in the family station wagon only picked up one station. That station played nothing, but oldies until he was 12 years old. Then after a format change, the station played nothing but country until he turned 16 and finally invested in an AM/FM cassette deck for that beautiful automobile.
Raised by oil, Fred's family moved back and forth between Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle before settling in Houston, Texas. Aside from a 4-year stint in College Station where he earned his B.S. in Journalism, he's called Houston home ever since.
With over two album's worth of material waiting to be heard, Fred is currently recording his first EP at Majik Studios. Whether he's performing with a full band or playing acoustic shows on the patio, a live performance is well worth the drive as he adds charisma to his original music and an original twist to covers.
Keep an eye open for the name Jetexas to appear on a marquis near you.
I'm not so sure... but I once had a two person grilling parade with no problems. We pushed a grill from one side of Denton to the other, cooked meat as we went, had a few drinks and played Edith Piaf from a little boom box.
I think if you're going to get in trouble for pushing something while intoxicated, giving some steak to the cops is the best way to save your ass.
