  • Bio

I've been playing drumset for about 15 years now. I am originally from Mobile, Alabama. I lived and studied in New Orleans, LA for three years at Loyola University, then I moved to my present home in Nashville, TN after hurricane Katrina. I recently graduated from Belmont University with a degree in Music Performance and Music Business. I'm comfortable playing in any style, and I always strive to bring life and energy to the performance. Currently, I record and perform with various artists. Among the groups I'm fortunate enough to play and tour with right now are The Dillon Dixon Band (adult pop), John Karl (modern country), Mannah (Progressive Rock), Thompson & Ward (Southern Rock), Karissa (Pop), and Cougar Fight (Hard Rock). I was also invited to perform at a clinic hosted by Johnny Rabb this past June, 2008. That was a great night, and there will be many more. I love what I do and hope to continue doing it for the rest of my life. ..Afro-Cuban style-Sabor...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .... ..Groovin'...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .... ..Double Bass practice: Singles=132...... .. .. .. .. .. .. ....

  • Influences

My influences are a wide range between genres and time periods. I come from a hard rock and metal background, but I spend more time studying other cultures and styles. Just to name a few bands: Pantera, Fear Factory, Lamb of God, Tito Puente, Michel Camilo, Arturo Sandoval, Los Van Van, Miles Davis, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Beethoven, Claude Debussy, Fredrick Chopin, Steve Vai, The Beatles, as well as many artists from India, Brazil, Africa and Cuba, and many many more...
