My name is Roger Paul Mason. I was born in Brooklyn and grew up in Chatham, NY. I went to school at the Rhode Island School of Design but enjoyed home recording more than most of my art classes. After living in a barn for a year or two i moved back to NYC and toured with a few rock bands, most notably Grammy winning trash rockers Skeleton Key and giant limo-driving Hector on Stilts.
Jets and Snakes is my open source electro-folk-tronic songwriting project. Far from being a solo affair, I am lucky enough to collaborate with Alan Foreman and the rest of TMT, Sora An, Jeb and Clay Colwell, Peter Edwards a.k.a. Casper Electronics, and many more. Enjoy.
