About Jettison Never (IN ASHEVILLE, NC THIS THURSDAY!)
Comprised of brothers Matt and Josh Gilbert, and cousin Ben Phillips; the 3-piece Jettison Never combines honest lyrics, tight vocals, and personal chemistry, producing a sound you will never forget. From the opening chords to the last note, the natural ability and hard work that's gone into the music is evident. The music can be classified as "alternative/rock", with a sound influenced by bands in the vein of Mute Math, Coldplay, Kings Of Leon, and The Killers; as well as garnered many references to the earlier sounds of U2 & The Police.
Now mustering an ambitious goal to build a national fan base, the band spends 9 months out of the year performing at hundreds of venues across the United States sharing the stage with many acts including the likes of Mute Math, Bowling For Soup, Cool Hand Luke, and Pillar. In the past year alone, Jettison Never has performed over 200+ shows in upwards of 44 states.
Already getting praise for their live show they will be a sure hit at venues across the country. With the release of their full length album "They Fall from Heaven Unassembled", Jettison Never is currently embarking on an extensive tour for all of 2009.

Yes, it was nice to meet you guys and see you do your thing live. I have been enjoying your album completely. It's lyrics and emotion (not to mention excellent songwriting and perfomance) has been a possitive thing for me and arived right on time in my life. Cool how that works, eh? We'll be spreading the word, fa sho.
Hey! Yeah, I'd love to get some of your songs! Totally understand that you can't just hand those out though, so don't stress if it'll cut into your revenue! I've been listening on myspace, so that helped me bone up for the concert this weekend. It was really fun hanging with you guys and Jennifer, so yes, we'll definitely have to get together when we're back in the south. It'll be a couple of years, sadly, but maybe we'll even catch ya on a visit home or something. Glad to see Seattle treated you well, too! Best wishes on the rest of the tour! Dudlygirl3@aol.com

Well sweet! Our guest room could use some actual guests in it. You guys are more than welcome, and don't feel like it obligates you to sit around with us either ... I'm sure you have lots of cool musician things to do around the city, haha! We're about 35 minutes outside downtown Portland, but it's better than sleeping in a car, I hope! I'll message you our address so you can do whatever planning you need to do, and just give me a holler in October when you're headed our way!
Hey buddies!! I'm so pumped to see that you're coming through Oregon on your tour this fall! My hubby and I will definitely come catch you guys at your stop in Portland. Holler if you need a place to crash when you're out here! And best of luck on the new tour ... can't wait to hear you live again!
