17th July 2007:
Born and bred Perth, WA, I have just taken the plunge, packed up and moved out of town.. A great and relaxed beachside town few hours north of perth.. five minutes to work.. actually, five minutes to anywhere you really want to go (except back to Perth)! Sort of like Summer Bay, but with more people, roads, traffic lights and diners!

10th April 2008:
Ok.. I've now re-packed and moved back to the Perth.. In fact, I never really ever got around to unpacking, so that may have been a subconscious suspicion that I was somewhere I wasn't really meant to be.. I guess I'm more of a city girl at heart.. I love my creature comforts and having my friends close by..

Jewelles 101 is going through a temporary life crisis whose genesis is the result of, first of all, a lack of new interests to spawn healthy excitement and intrigue, as well as a general stagnation of esprit de corps. 6th November 2009:
It appears that I was so "in the dark" about what I want my future to hold, that I accepted a job in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I landed last night to embark on this new adventure and life changing experience - life, as I know it, no longer exists and I'm really excited to see how the future unfolds. I'll be living in a university campus/city (at the moment, my home is a hotel room) with so much to do after work for it's staff members, that I expect to be more active and social than I've ever been in my life! So far, I've only encountered two problems, first being that out of the 30 odd tv channels, other than news programs, I have three english speaking to chose from but they appear to only screen circa 1980 straight to video movies.. Second is that most of the blog sites that I follow are restricted. I'm really not sure how I'm going to deal with not getting my daily fix of celebrity debauchery and gossip...
