I love all forms of good music - from 4/4 to 13/16. Sometimes the D-Minor chord pisses me off, but generally I like all the notes when used with a certain amount of feeling and rhythm.
Some of my favorites are Frank Zappa, Lou Reed, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, John McLaughlin, Shakti, Gong, Can, Pavement, and the Meat Puppets.
Some of my favorite local bands are Bodies of Water, the Faraway Places, Lavender Diamond, and Listing Ship.
About me: I mainly earn a living as a film and television editor, but I've had a couple of professional directing jobs as well. I'd like to work on a couple of great films sometime before I die.
Who I'd like to meet: Hieronymus Bosch, Salvador Dali, Ken Kesey, and John Waters.
