I use to be a huge film buff but with the dying art of local video rental and $10 movie tickets my movie going has pretty much dried to a trickle.
Remember when you could afford to go to the movies every week and could afford to catch a stinker of a film just because? Wasn't that long ago -- two years ago to be exact.

Television
I use to watch Smallville religiously until season 6 kind of dropped the ball.
I <3 Kyle XY but the gap between seasons usually is huge. Waiting an entire year for 10 episodes? Screw you ABC Family. Still waiting for season 3, assholes.
After that I'm pretty much watching only anime online. Yeah they're kind of predictable and shallow but I'm a huge Shonen Jump fan. Naruto, Bleach, One Piece all work for me. Soul Eater, Macademi Wasshoi...
Books
When I finished HS I had maybe a dozen books. PAcking up to move out this year I had to find boxes for about six book shelves worth of materials.
My list of authors that I admire is far too numerous to list here but I already mention Bulgakov and Nabokov. Borges is an absolute master. And I could take the next forty minutes splooging over these three. So I won't.

All the good ones -- Superman, Batman, Captain America, WildCATs, Teen Titans, LEGION -- you know.

About me: Yeah yeah this has been blank for a couple months now. The original shit was getting old and after nuking it never had the desire to put anything else up.
Anyway I'm a 25 year close-to-failure college graduate. Kids -- the arts (Literature, in my case), they're fun, but they just don't pay the bills in most cases. Sad but true; being one of the few people to dissect a Nabokov or Bulgakov novel really doesn't make money for a company. I'm probably going to start my MBA online or something.
I work as a manager at a resturant that I'm not too fond of but I like (most of) the people working there. Not sure they like me, but at least when I'm there they do. I'm sure I'm called an asshole behind my back or something.
I pretty much have all the geek hobbies -- avid video game enthuasist; I read comics, graphic novels, manga; about the only TV I watch is pretty much animated and from another country; I spend more time on the internet than out at bars than most people my age; originally went to school in computer programming.
So if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck. I'm a geek then. If the glasses and lame picture don't give it away before then.
I also love hockey. If you start me, I can probably talk about the sport all day without stop.
I'm also currently designing a computer RPG, which takes up a lot of my free time now. Too bad it's kind of hard to produce a huge scale RPG on your own nowadays. La sigh.

awe....I didn't know brooke was having a baby tell her i said congrats. Sorry i don't come in really any more It's across town from where i live and well i've been consumed with my job we are undergoing management changes and lots of stressful crap is going on. I know the economy is bad but i would so quit my job now if i could. So still nothing on a different job for you? Doesn't it sometimes feel like having a college degree almost means absolutely nothing in a lot of these jobs? Weren't we told when we graduated high school that if we had one that the jobs would just come flying towards us. Well that was a lie wasn't it. The person above me has no degree, and i am talking to people i know who have really good jobs just with thier high school edu.
of course lots of working bout to get into our busy season again i am cringing with the thought. otherwise, vacations and crap, finally got myself a facebook account i didn't think i'd ever decide i needed one of those, but hell you can only be told so many times your living in the dark ages before you actually do something about it. WHATS UP PIMP. dude, tags Moore 3021. Definitely, you need to get COD4. Thats a must, is Soul Cali 4 any good. I didn't really care for 3 or 2 that much, it was just repetitive button mashing, and I think they worked out the bugs... but I heard fighters are better on playstation cause of the controller. Shooters are better on 360 from my standpoint, personally. But I do have Lost Planet for the 360. That game is hard as hell if you set it on hard difficulty. But if you put it on easy, I think its a piece of cake walk through.
I've got one game and I'll just let you have it, cause its just collecting dust in my library. Perfect Dark Zero... that by far is the worst game for the 360. It's such a shitty game, I can't even give it away, but if you want it... and give it a shot. You'll set it down next to all the other kewl games, and it will just set on the shelf with neglect. Cause its such a piss poor example of a fucking video game. It sucking fucks, it fucking sucks, and I don't like it.
