About JFR Project

Edmonton’s alternative rock act JFR Project will launch its debut album No 2nd Chance on Saturday, July 18th 2009. This highly anticipated event will be held at the Starlite Room located at 10030 102 St in Edmonton. Doors open at 9pm and tickets are $10 on location. The lineup includes Stone Iris, the Heard and Sexton Slang.

Recorded locally at the Coop Studio with Carson Cole, No 2nd Chance is a collection of 11 tracks written over the last 5 years. The album was mixed at Turn Key Audio by Rob Hewes and mastered at Levelless Studio.

The members of JFR Project are no stranger to the stage; they know how to reel in the crowds and leave them grasping for more! Since 2008, Cory D (bass), Scotty Banks (drums), Joel Briggs (lead guitar), J-F- (vocals and guitar) and Natalya (backup vocals) have been hard at work and evolved as a highly talented and energetic alternative rock emerging act. The band is currently planning a west coast Fall tour.

We wanted to make sure you knew the reason incase we suddenly vanish off of your friends list. The movement we've started for indie artists has grown significantly and consumes all of our time these days. We seldom sign into our myspace account and this is making several people believe that we are ignoring them. We are not ignoring anyone, we wanted everyone to know that. What we're doing has become so busy we just don't have the time for myspace any longer, so in all honesty we are probably going to just close our myspace account.
