BIOGRAPHY:

Guitars, born in Lugano (Switzerland) on 24th of march 1970. since 1998 with U.D.O., beside Mr.Udo Dirkschneider, former singer of ACCEPT, one of the biggest act in metal scene in the '80-'90, together with names like JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, SAXON and many more. with U.D.O. in the last 10 years he released 6 albums, 2 DVD's and 5 World wide tours. Acting on stage beside bands like DEEP PURPLE, AEROSMITH, JUDAS PRIEST, DIO, DAVID LEE ROTH and many more. In his personal biography there's also GOTTHARD (from '93 to '95), where he played he DIAL HARD tour, more than 100 gigs all over Europe. In 2005 he released the album CAMOUFLAGE, with norwegaian band WILD WILLY'S GANG, promoted with 40 gigs all over Scandinavia, playing guitars with TNT guitar hero RONNIE LE TEKRO. Since early 2007 he plays time to time with the norwegian outstanding vocal talent JORN LANDE. From 1991 more than 1000 gigs in more than 40 countries all over the world, and a lot jobs with different bands.

Dal 1998 membro della band tedesca U.D.O. , a fianco di Udo Dirkschneider, cantante originale degli ACCEPT, band che negli anni '80-'90 ha venduto oltre 6 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, ed ha scritto pagine importanti dell’ Hardrock-Metal di fianco a bands come JUDAS PRIEST, IRON MAIDEN, SAXON e molti altri. Con quest’ultimo ha collaborato negli ultimi 10 anni alla realizzazione di 6 album, 2 DVD e 5 tour mondiali, con più di 800 concerti all’ attivo. Numerose presenze di fianco ai più grandi nomi della storia come DEEP PURPLE, AEROSMITH, JUDAS PRIEST, DIO, DAVID LEE ROTH e molti altri. Tra le collaborazioni figurano anche i GOTTHARD (dal '93 al '95), con cui ha portato in tutta europa, con pù di 100 concerti, il tour di DIAL HARD. nel 2005 ha pubblicato con la band novegese WILD WILLY'S GANG l'album CAMOUFLAGE, di fianco al guitar hero dei TNT Ronnie Le Tekro, con un successivo tour di 40 date in tutta la Scandinavia. Dal 2007 collabora anche con JORN LANDE, grande talento vocale norvegese degli ultimi anni. Jgor hat in den letzten 10 Jahren mit U.D.O. 6 Alben und 2 DVDs veröffentlicht, 5 Welttourneen mit über 800 Shows bestritten und hat die Bühne mit Grössen wie DEEP PURPLE, AEROSMITH, JUDAS PRIEST, DIO, DAVID LEE ROTH und vielen mehr geteilt. 1993 bis 95 war er mit GOTTHARD auf der DIAL HARD Tour mit über 100 Konzerten in ganz Europa. 2005 hat er mit der norwegischen Band WILD WILLY’S GANG zusammen mit dem TNT Gitarren-Gott Ronnie Le Tekro das Album CAMOUFLAGE aufgenommen, gefolgt von einer Tour mit 40 Gigs in ganz Skandinavien. Seit 2007 arbeitet er auch mit JORN LANDE, dem grossen Gesangstalent aus Norwegen, zusammen. Seit 1991 hat er mehr als 1000 Konzerte in über 40 Ländern gespielt und hat eine beachtliche Liste von Zusammenarbeiten mit Musikern und Bands aufzuweisen.

BANDS AND CAREER:

LIFEFORCE 1986 – 1989
First band ever, with friends, enthusiasm and excitement. No records but first live experiences, a lot of fun and the achieve to play out of Ticino and in 1988 to open a festival near to hometown with Krokus, China and Vengeance.

SLEEK 1990 – 1993
First professional level experience, winners of TI-Rock contest in 1991 and following first tour in Switzerland and first international tour in Ukraina January-February 1993 with the band Red Square, a really nice souvenir.

GOTTHARD 1993 – 1995
Since 1992 the best selling Rock Band from Switzerland, Formerly produced by the Krokus former bass player Chris Von Rohr. More than 100 gigs all over Europe and Japan on the “Dial Hard” tour and 1 mini Ep with live tracks recorded. Gold and Platinum in Switzerland for the selling of “Dial Hard” (BMG Ariola).

AIN'T DEAD YET 1995 - 1997
Band composed by former members of the famous Swiss Hard Rock Band “Krokus”, Many Maurer, Tony Castell, Peter Haas and Andy Portmann on vocals.
More than 40 gigs on the “Read your Mind” Tour (Phonag Records) and live appareance on Swiss national TV shows.

DIXIE DINAMYTE 1997 – 1998
Musicians from the band Sleek and Forsale (former band of the singer of Gotthard Steve Lee and keyboard player Neil Otupacca) added to the groove of Johnny Frizzi. Hundred of gigs in Switzerland playing Clubs and an indipendent release called “Dixie Dinamyte”.

U.D.O. 1999 – present
More than 500 gigs and Festivals all over Europe, USA, Russia,Japan,South America,etc.... 2 Live, 5 Studio album recorded and 2 DVD's :

ALTO VOLTAGGIO 1998 - PRESENT

This project started to cover good songs and gaps between tours but after a short time it became a really nice and funny project, involving outstanding and experienced musicians playing what they like to do and they gronw up with…succesful, funny and busy

WILD WILLY'S GANG 2005
On November 2004, while Udo starts working on the ACCEPT reunion tour, Igor recorded "Camouflage" with the norwegian band WILD WILLYS GANG.
Other known musicians involved in this project are Ronni Le Tekro from TNT, and Willy Bendiksen, former drummer of THE ROADS, THE SNAKES (feat. Bernie Marsden), and JORN LANDE.

JORN LANDE 2007 - Present
On March 24th 2007, Jgor replaced his friend Tore Moren at Metal Mania Festival in Katowice - Poland.
Since there it started a cooperation with Jorn and the band, in 2008 Fall tour Jgor
joins the Band one more time, this time to replace the great friend and guitar player
