Jeremy S. Griffin's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Jeremy S. Griffin is a comedic performer and writer from North Carolina. He began his improv career in the fall of 2000 with Wilmington, NC's The Other Side Sketch and Improv Comedy Troupe. Jeremy then relocated to Chicago to train at the iO Theater (formerly Improv Olympic). While there, he helped create the independent group Camarilla and was a founding member of The Playground Theater's ensemble The Senate.
Jeremy has also had the opportunity to participate in various festivals and workshops including the Chicago Improv Festival, The Philadelphia Improv Festival, the Dirty South Improv Festival 2001-2007, DSI's 24 hour benefit marathon 24LIVE, and The Del Close Marathon in New York City. He has trained with such greats as Mick Napier (Annoyance), Zach Ward (DSI), Pat O'Brien (iO), Don Hall (WNEP), Shira Piven, Eric Hunnicut(iO - LA), Jeff Griggs (iO), Joe Bill (iO/Annoyance)and TJ Jagadowski (iO/ Second City / Sonic commercials).
Jeremy is currently a teacher, producer, and performer with the acclaimed and renowned DSI Comedy Theater. He performs every Friday @ 9:30 with Mister Diplomat (long form improv), and on some Saturdays with Cajones (2-man improv w/ Zach Ward).
