I first came to love music when I was given a casio keyboard at age 6 (1990). Since then, I learned viola, and eventually switched to the violin, ultimately to major in violin performance at the University of Idaho, in Moscow, ID where I also studied voice. I have recently graduated with Masters in Music Composition from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I enjoy experimenting with a variety of mediums and genres such as musique concrete, classical string ensembles, piano solos, electronica, etc. Music that incorporates both acoustic and electronic/digital elements are most appealing to my ear.
I feel it is part of my mission to create music that other people can relate with--establish a connection on a non-verbal level. Perhaps this connection might inspire someone, or give someone motivation. I wish to encourage healing through self-expression.
I would love to collaborate with anyone who wants to add a voice or violin track to their piece or start a whole new piece together, so please don't hesitate to ask.
It is such an honor to have had the privilege to work with Tigerforest and Amethyste recently. Gunnar Spardel's heartfelt and soothing music, melodic improvisations, vivid lyrics, and artistic vocal mixing have all served to create such beautiful and touching music on both his Tigerforest album ("Longing for the Sun") and Atlantique music ("Legends" lyrics by Amethyste). And I have been blessed with the support, advice, and endearing lyrics from Amethyste, the pure voice of an angel. I am truly grateful for our collaborations, and I look forward to more projects together.
Currently I am pleased to be working on songs for Gunnar's soon to be released album called "Daybreak". Also, I am a newly recruited member of "Indigent Row" perfoming on fiddle and vocals. Check out www.myspace.com/indigentrow for more details and pictures.
Thank you for the add

"Emptiness is the ultimate subtle state of all existences, phenomena. It is not the complete void of all things, but the ultimate nature of the Universe."
I do still compose songs. I'm still fleshing out one for the wedding. It's a lot more pressure when it's for something so important, but I enjoy it... when I have free time (haha!). Music for the love it is definitely more fun than because you'll flunk otherwise! What I'd give for a studio so I could record in peace and quiet, tho!
Hi Jennifer, I loved all your pieces, but Solitude is my favourite. Excellent work! Thank you for your comment. I am glad that you enjoyed "Lament for the path of war". You can listen to the complete 20' "Dreams Are Buried Here" piece on my website, and it is also available for download on iTunes and other stores. The part 1 video can also be downloaded free from my website.
You're very welcome Jennifer, and thank you for letting me know you enjoyed "Lullaby"!!
Oh...and don't worry if you don't speak Italian: communicating in English is ok!! :)

Thanks, Jennifer. I did present portions of the piece in Seminar last year. I think the First Point and Closing were finished, and the Second Point was in-progress.
We always enjoy your music at the Festival and it's great to see you are with a new band. I'm keeping busy playing grown up and student at the same time. Still looking forward to many mis-adventures at the festival next year.
Wow! You sure are busy! But at least you're having fun, right?! lol Me? I'm doing okay. Not sure if I told you, I'm in an mba program; should be done March 2010. Fingers crossed. I'm thinking I want to move back east maybe this year or next; not too sure. We'll see, eh? Other than that, just getting old! (I turn 28 on sunday. I SO don't feel THAT old! lol) Anyway, glad to hear from ya! Sorry I haven't messaged much. Some times I'm good, other times I'm not. :) What can ya do, eh?! :o)
