50's rock, 60's rock, alt. country, be bop, big band, bluegrass, blues, boogie woogie, cajun, celtic, country, creole, jazz, ragtime, rockabilly, roots rock, rythym and blues, soul, standards, stride piano, swing, western swing, zydeco. Basically, almost anything...most of what I like is older than I am. I blame my parents for that.
Loud and obnoxious classical music as well. Like "The Anvil Chorus", "The 1812 Overture", "The William Tell Overture", "The Ride of the Valkyries", etc. I learned to appreciate classical music from watching Bugs Bunny cartoons. *Grin*
Old time radio shows, especially the comedies, like Burns and Allen, Fibber McGee and Molly, Jack Benny, etc...
I tend to channel surf, especially in my truck, and if I hear a good song, regardless of the station/format, I'll listen to it. I just like good music, although "good music" can be highly subjective, and what I consider good music could very well suck in the opinion of others, and vice versa.
Movies
Don't get to see many with my work schedule. I like a lot of different genres however.
Television
Bones; Criminal Minds; Crossing Jordan; CSI:; CSI: Miami; CSI: New York; Law and Order; Law and Order: Criminal Intent; Law and Order: SVU; NCIS; Without A Trace.
But with my work schedule, I don't get to watch all of them most of the time.
Books
I'm a nerd...Sci-fi/fantasy; military history/military fiction (especially SpecOps); I used to have subscriptions to Reader's Digest, as well as their "Today's Best Non-fiction" and "Condensed Books". I have several subscriptions to radio communication related magazines. I buy "Weatherwise" and "Fire Apparatus Journal" off the news stand. I browse through the gun and military magazines at the news stand as well.
Heroes
Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, and Reserves.
Safezones are places where you cannot discriminate against a persons race, ethnicity, or country of origin; religious belief, or disbelief; disabilty; gender; age; or sexual preferance. Such places are this journal.
Every one of you has heard this song, but probably none of you have any clue that there are lyrics to it. My headline is a verse from the theme song to the movie and television series "M*A*S*H". The lyrics were only ever heard in the movie and at least the final episode of the series. So here it is...(and no, I'm not considering it.)
Who I'd like to meet: To be hated is cause for celebration. It means looking at you forces a hater to look upon themselves and see everything they will never be.

I have been working on my family tree off and on since I was a teenager. I would like to be able to see my grandparents, aunts and 1st cousins on my mom's side of the family back east that I haven't seen in years, and distant cousins on my dad's side that I haven't seen since I moved from PA to AZ. I would also like to eventually meet other distant cousins from both sides of the family that I have never met. Family are welcome to ask for the link to the family tree that I have posted online for my dad's side of the family. I would also like to be able to continue to add information to it, so any info is always appreciated. I don't yet have the family tree for mom's side of the family posted online. That will be forthcoming.

I'm not interested in meeting celebrities or anyone "famous". They're usually overhyped anyway. Who cares who they're dating, or cheating on; or who just went into rehab, or jail, or whathaveyou? I guess people don't have enough of a life that they have to stick their noses into the lives of celebrities too. And don't get me started on the paparazzi. A whole lot of them need a baseball bat upside their skull.

Lost my job 2 weeks ago! I'm appealing it since I was never previously counselled or repremanded in any way! Still sucks though... I'm broke and have bills plus my kiddo to take care of! This sucks and I need another job fast! Don't want to settle for something in retail or whatever ya know- need an actual decent job that pays decent too!
I did... I talked to Erin via text when she got off of work and she didn't know what they were doing. So I told her to call me or text me and let me know and I would've met you guys up there! But I never heard back from her!
