As a child I never watched TV- I hate parents who use the TV as a babysitter-put your child outside in the fresh air and make them use their imagination and PLAY. Parents who can't even ride to the grocery store in their SUV without playing a DVD for their child make me sick. Talk to your children on the way, let them stare out the window and look for out of state license plates, play the I went on a picnic and brought an apple game.
