The BBC Radiophonic Workshop, really bad 80s thrash/death metal/grindcore/industrial, the local scene of Michiana, and countless others I'm sure I've missed. Did I mention classic scifi [Doctor Who/Sapphire & Steel/Out of the Unknown], cold war B movies, NES soundtracks and 8-bit electro?
Sounds Like
Battle armored dinosaurs from the future making sweet love to broken robots of the past.
For all you samplers and electro geeks, I've posted a page of royalty-free sounds I've made @ Freesound.org. Sample packs will be added as I get time. I'm always curious to hear how they're used so please drop me a line!
Hi Obamatrons / Dittoheads of America, We just thought we'd let you know we wrote and recorded a brand new song over Christmas. It's called "Guilty Hands" - and if you want to know what it's about, try googling "desire and the black masseur"... We're giving the song away FREE in conjunction with Artrocker - click here to download the track (no obligation, no mailing list sign-up, just free music).
Hey there handsome. We'd like you have a free song, for no money, free - it's a remix of "Gregory and the Birds" which you can find here.
In return, we'd really appreciate it if you would subscribe to our blog. If you don't subscribe, you won't know it's been updated, which means we'd be writing to no one, like when one of Martin's friends at school pretended to be passing on his letters to a penpal when he was actually opening them and answering them himself in disguised handwriting. All you need to do is click here. You can also take a look at our first blog entry, which is a lovely selection of photos.
Well Dana is right I have about a little over a month to go, I can't wait. Now I'm not working since I delivered early with Dayne the doc says its good not to be on my feet so much. So you at a job at the wally world that's cool what do you plan on doing there? I could imagine how the Hut has changed it seems like another life ago. Well I'm glad to here things are going good for you and Dana. Take care.
Help us win £15,000 to record an album! Hello American friend, in a rather exciting turn of events, GLYFAL have reached the showcase stage on the "Slice The Pie" website - which means we're competing with about 15 other artists (out of a field of 100s) to win money to record an album. And record it well.
All you have to do is sign up to the site and then go to the "all genres 9" showcase and vote. Just type "www. slicethepie. com" into your browser (don't click on the link, myspace thinks it's spam for some inexplicable reason) and it's obvious from there.
If you do you will have our profound gratitude, and we promise to produce the album you know we're capable of.
Many thanks, and oh, don't forget to vote in that slightly more important "showcase" on November 4th if you can!
